Importance of Student Induction <ul><li>Students need to understand why they are being asked to use a particular learning environment and how it can benefit their learning </li></ul><ul><li>This is important in 08/09 as most students will be moving from the VLP system to a system which is more complex </li></ul><ul><li>For 08/09 ensure appropriate support structures are in place to assist all students with this change </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Online support </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Liaison Librarians </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Customer Services </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>School based support </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Ensure sustainability of student induction plans </li></ul>
