  • This is a nice little experiment, however, you've missed the most interesting part - can you take the coffee from a Nespresso capsule and use it as regular ground coffee with a manual espresso machine? That will be the ultimate proof that the content of the coffee in the capsule is similar to what is used for 'regular' high end espresso. You know what? now that I think about it, I'm gonna try it myself with a capsule from work. Can't wait to get home now :)

  • @o-o-o Nespresso capsules are quite small and can only contain very limited amount of coffee, cannot do much with approx 5grams of coffee per capsule.
    You should try Capsules which are packed with much more ground coffee.
    ie EP MAXI contain up to 14gr of coffee and in my opinion machines are also better.

  • Pod coffee is overpriced crap that produces more landfill waste. I have tried the stuff, while it's a time saver Nespresso etc. makers JUST DON'T MAKE A RICH TASTING CUP OF COFFEE.
