Development of training module for master trainers of multigrade teaching Lalit Kishore CULP, Jaipur Training of master trainers requires development of a module so as to transfer the field level teacher training to classroom and provide support to teachers. A one day discussion cum workshop was organized at CULP-Jaipur (N=4; February 6, 2016) to finalize a six-day training module for Rajasthan Government’s multi-grade schools for tribal children called Maa-Bari Kendras. The module has two parts, in which the first three days consist of demonstrations and experiential sessions to give a feel for multi-grade teaching with learning episodes from the textbooks of the state government. The next three days’ training sessions have been formatted in workshop mode and practical application through development of instructional material and its transaction by the trainees. Thus, in the last three days of the training, master trainers are required to plan their own sessions so as to impart training to teachers in twelve days split over four phases of three days each.
