  9. Whether it’s simplicity of light,
  10. simplicity of nature,
  11. or simplicity of material,
  12. we believe less is always more.
  13. because less creates space for breathtaking.
  14. and high elegant open spaces... all signatures of MSH Design.

  16. “No house should ever be on a hill... It should be of the hill, belonging to it. Hill and house should live together, each happier for the other.” - Frank LloydWright
  17. For us, sustainable design is not just a requirement.
  18. It’s a passion.
  19. To MSH, sustainable design means: natural materials, thick walls for insulation, and - most importantly - daylight.
  20. The sun’s rotation is a partner in the sustainability of MSH homes.
  21. Together, they maximize natural light, efficiency, and wellbeing.

  27. Because we are wildly passionate period-accurate designers
  28. that have traveled the world in relentless study of architecture.
  29. We put our history hats on,
  30. and design a building that feels resurrected from centuries past.
  31. Honestly. Sustainably. Accurately. Transparently. Socially. Simply. Holistically. Exclusively. Design Fearlessly.
  32. No foam fillers,
  33. no fake wooden boxes in your ceiling...
  34. This is honest design.
  35. You could say our buildings wear their hearts on their sleeves.
  36. Because we open up their structural necessities,
  37. and reveal what we believe is a beautiful piece of our buildings’ stories.
  38. Transparently. Sustainably. Accurately. Honestly. Socially. Simply. Holistically. Exclusively. Design Fearlessly.
  39. We believe that, more important than the placement of material, is the placement of space and light.

  46. bring the possessions to fill it,
  47. overfill it,
  48. or define it, The featured room was designed around this poker table given to an MSH client by theWynn Hotel.
  49. and the personality to influence it,
  50. but most importantly - the feelings to energize it.
  51. We’re with Frank Chimero in that “People ignore design that ignores people.”
  52. Because, asWalt Disney has said,“You can design and create, and build the most wonderful place in the world.  But it takes people to make the dream a reality.”
  53. Holistically. Sustainably. Accurately. Honestly. Transparently. Socially. Simply. Exclusively. Design Fearlessly.
  54. We are passionate about what we call “concept-to-concrete” design.
  55. So, for select clients, we even offer the option of managing the entire design-to-construction process of your home or establishment.

  57. There’s a reason a waiting line exists for our services.
  58. We understand the value that others sacrifice to produce overambitious turnarounds.
  59. And we ask, where’s the fire?
  60. Because we understand that for many of our clients the building of their home is one of the most important things they’ll do in their life. So we believe in focusing on the details, not the turnaround time.
  61. But the proof is in the building, as they say.
  62. Our designs are rarely questioned by contractors and never sent back with mistakes.
  63. Because all MSH designs are conceptualized and overseen exclusively by the principal... And, who is the principal?
  64. Mehran Shahverdi [Principal] Mehran has been in love with architectural and interior design since his childhood in Iran, where he built miniature houses and wooden furniture for his two older sisters’ abundance of Barbie dolls. With the dream of someday designing life-size homes for real people, he moved to the U.S. to study his passion, ultimately earning a Professional Designation in Interior and Environmental Design from UCLA and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southern California. Early-on successes blossomed, such as his work on a 3,000 sq.ft. John Frieda beauty salon, recognized as “glamorous” and “intoxicating” by industry thought leaders. He has since fulfilled his childhood dream and started his own firm, MSH Design, Inc., responsible for dream homes in Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Brentwood Park and elsewhere for clients including A-list actors. He feels very lucky to have his own family and the opportunity to do what he loves and change the lives of his clients and their families. start| MSHDinc.com | (310)251-9935 | Mehran@MSHDinc.comMSH Meet:
  65. Get to know Mehran #1 He once took more than 5,000 pictures in Italy on a trip to study architecture (Mehran has traveled worldwide, including most of Europe, in pursuit of his passion for period accurate architecture). #2 Bicycling fuels Mehran’s creativity. Some of his best initial concepts came to him while bicycling the Pacific Coast Highway, oftentimes pulling over to scratch the idea on his hand. #3 Most designers require payment to visit the construction sites of their work. Mehran, however, sometimes feels embarrassed that he is there too much and will oftentimes go there alone to observe and reflect.
