So, I am apparently on a roll with updating. This is a good thing, right?

Last time The United States of America was born and it wasn’t even the Fourth of July. Palau found out about her future and
then proceeded to act out, like a teenager. If this doesn’t sound familiar, I suggest reading the previous chapter to catch up.

This chapter contains adult concepts and a metric butt-ton of song lyrics. You have been warned.
~*~
“I can’t believe you didn’t talk to me first! Letting our kids go out unsupervised. What were you thinking?”

“I was thinking that the director-person and several other responsible adult types were going to be there.”

“But we aren’t going to be, that’s the problem!”

“It’s just the prom, I don’t get why it’s a big deal.”

“It’s a big deal because Drea is still out there.”

“But she thinks Onslow’s dead. We made sure of that.”

“And do you think she’s just going to stop there? How naïve are you?”
“But it’s not like she’s going to come after us, we aren’t even Warners.”

“Have you looked at Pico? He looks like his father. If she sees him, I don’t want to know what would happen. I’m with them at
school. You’re here with them at home. We are always there. But if they go to the prom, they won’t be under our protection and
I’m afraid of what will happen.”

“Do you really think the director-person would let anything happen with her own kids in the line of fire?”

“No. But I don’t want to take the risk. Please, Kelvin. For Pico’s sake and my peace of mind.”

“Fine. You’re a stubborn woman.”

“I know. But I love our family.”

“Let’s do it.”
“Kids!”
“Whatcha want?” Ash asked.

“Go grab two of the chairs from the dining room and sit down,” Kelvin responded.
Once everyone was seated, Burundi began.

“We’ve call you all here to tell you that your father made a mistake when he gave permission to go to the prom. He was wrong.
Because of the danger this family is in. No one is going.”
Burundi tried to explain further but her voice was drowned out by seven teenagers all talking at once.
“It’s all your fault,” Teak snarled at Mika. “If you hadn’t come here, we could have still gone.”

“Teak,” Picoline said softly. “It’s not her fault. She didn’t ask to be orphaned.”

“Maybe not, but it’s the reason why we can’t go to prom.”
“Teak!” his twin Ebony chastized.

But Mika was able and willing to defend herself. “Do you think I wanted my parents and siblings dead? My twin? Do you think I’m
happy to be missing my big night with my boyfriend? I’m not. But it’s not my fault that some psycho-bitch ho had her hate on for
our uncle and that she sees us all as threats. Because my mom, one of the nicest people ever, unlike you.”
“Kids stop it!” Kelvin shouted getting the teens’ attention again. “We aren’t here to play the blame game. We’re here to keep you
safe.”

“And that means no prom.”
The kids all groaned.

Burundi ignored it. “So if there’s no more pointless protests, let’s have dinner.”
That night, Burundi and Kelvin set up a plan to watch the various exits to make sure none of the kids had the bright idea to sneak
out. Burundi got the front porch and the windows from the kids room. While Kelvin got the back and the telescope balcony.

It was a good thing they did too.
“Just what do you think you’re doing?”

“Um…”
“Teak, I know you want to go dance and make out with your girlfriend.”

“It’s not just that Dad, she’s going to think I stood her up.”

“Just tell her you were grounded, which by the way, you totally are.”

“Busted.”

“Indeed. Now get back inside before your mother sees you.”
“Going someplace?”

“Um…”

“Go back inside, Mika. If he’s any kind of man, he’ll understand.”

                                                                ~*~

“Maia, what are you doing?”
“What’s it look like, crybaby?”

“It looks like you’re in Mama Mary’s drawer.”

“Ding, ding, ding. You’d be correct.”

“But why?”
“She’s got some sweet bling that I want to wear to the prom.”

“Did you ask her?”

“She won’t say no.”

“That doesn’t sound like a yes. That’s stealing, Maia.”
“So what if it is? What are you going to do about it, crybaby? Tell?”

“I should.”

“But you won’t.”
“I won’t if you put what you took back.”

“Make me.”

“Mom! Dad! Mama Mary!”

“Bitch!”
“Did you hear shouting?”

“It sounds like it’s coming from our bedroom”
The three adults walked to the doorway of their shared bedroom to find Maia shoving her sister.

“Girls! What is this?” Frank said stepping into the room.
“The crybaby’s sticking her nose where it isn’t wanted,” Maia answered with a snarl.

“And Maia’s just mad at me ‘cause I caught her stealing!”

“Did not!”

“Did so!”

“Did not!”

“Did so!”

“Did not!”

“Did so!”
“Girls! Both of you on the couch now!”

“See what you did, crybaby!”

“I’m not the thief!”

“I don’t care, who did what. Couch! Now!”
“This is your fault, you bitchy crybaby” Maia spat, looking at her sister.

“Maia!” Mary exclaimed.

“Name calling aside, from where I stand I see both of you at fault,” Star added.

“And I want to know why you thought it’d be a good idea to shove your sister. Hitting is never okay! I thought we raised you
better than that.”

“You didn’t raise us at all,” Maia snapped.

All three adults reeled back in shock at her words.
“Explain yourself right now.”

“So now you care about us, it’s about time.”

“Your mothers and I have always cared about you.”

“Fat lot you showed us. You’ve been so wrapped up in the three of you that there’s no room for anyone else.”

“Is that how you both see it?”
Spica gnawed on one fingernail. “I used to think that, especially after a day when Maia was really mean to me, but then I came to
realize that you were trusting us to come get you if we needed something. You made sure we were fed, clean, and had stuff to
do. It was our responsibility to do our homework, although you’d help us if we asked, and do our chores. You were trying to give
us our freedom. At least that’s what I think now. There are times, though, that I wish you were more hands on. Maybe…” she
trailed off not wanting to give voice to her thoughts.
Spica glanced back up to see that Mary was crying while her parents looked pissed. The girl sighed and centered herself for an
explosion.

It wasn’t long in coming. “Damn right we trusted you to behave and come to us. Now I see that it was a mistake. Obviously you
two aren’t worthy of having freedom and independence. You want tyrants for parents you can have them.”

‘”Starting now!” Frank interjected, pointing his finger for emphasis.
“Right,” Star agreed. “Maia, you’ve been accused of stealing.”

“Do you have proof other than the crybaby’s word?”

“And that’s another thing, the name calling, it stops now.”

“Why? You call Mama Mary ‘history-britches’ all the time.”

“That’s something totally different. As for you, Spica.” The girl flinched. “You should have come to us when Maia started
bullying you.”

“I didn’t want to be a tattle-tale.”

“Doesn’t matter now. Both of you are grounded. Maia for three months. Spica for two weeks.”

“No fair!” Maia exclaimed.
“Nice job, crybaby.”

“Three months and one week now, Maia,” Frank added. “Every time you call your sister a name you’re going to add a week to your
grounding.”

Maia growled but didn’t say anything.
“Um. Can I still go to prom?” Spica asked softly.
“What part of grounding didn’t you get? We both can’t go to prom.”

“But I’m supposed to meet Quinn there.”

“Too bad. He’s cute and a movie star’s son, I bet all of the girls will be swooning over him. He could end up going steady with
someone if you don’t watch out.”
“Yeah,” Spica said looking stricken.
That night, Spica didn’t sleep, laying in bed until the snores of her siblings started their nightly symphony. She slipped out of
bed and pulled on her silk dress and packed a few clothes into a bag. She knew she was going to catch hell for sneaking out, she
just hoped that Uncle Oz and Aunt Doc would put her up until the worst blew over.
She slipped out onto the balcony, thankful that the bubble blower and hot tub weren’t in use. Stepping to the edge, she dropped
the bag over then started climbing over carefully herself.
“Okay girl just let go.”
Spica picked up the small bag with her clothes, dusted herself off, and glanced around. No one seemed to had heard her. She
smiled to herself. Perfect. Now she had a prom to get to.

                                                             ~*~
If I leave here tomorrow
Would you still remember me?
For I must be traveling on, now
'Cause there's too many places I've got to see
But, if I stayed here with you, girl
Things just couldn't be the same
'Cause I'm as free as a bird now
And this bird you can not change
And this bird you can not change
And this bird you can not change
Lord knows, I can't change
Bye, bye, baby it's been a sweet love
Though this feeling I can't change
But please don't take it so badly
'Cause Lord knows I'm to blame
But, if I stayed here with you girl
Things just couldn't be the same
'Cause I'm as free as a bird now
And this bird you can not change
And the bird you can not change
And this bird you can not change
Lord knows, I can't change
Lord help me, I can't change

Lord I can't change
Won't you fly, free bird, yeah.

                                   “Freebird “by Lynyrd Skynyrd
“I think I hear bubbling.”

“It’s probably just the fishtank.”

“It sounds like someone is putting soap in a fountain.”

“How would you know the sound of that?”

“It’s a long story.”

“Why don’t you tell it to me?”
“Nice save, Latvia.”
“Your cousin is pouring soap in the fountain.”

“Family trait.”
“Does that mean you’re going to pour soap in fountains?”

“Me? No. Do you really think I could fit a soap box in this dress?”

“Um…”

“I mean where would I put it. It’s all Romania under here.”

“Uh…”
“Still, I wish he’d picked a different fountain to pour soap in. If the bubbles stain my dress I will end you, Joss Whedon Warner,
nice points be damned.”

Joss snorted but didn’t say anything.
“He’s coming back.”

“He’s lucky he didn’t get caught,” Kor said. “He’s got balls for doing that behind Mr. Stephens back, though.”

“Of course, he does,” Elizabeth said defending her boyfriend.

“Speaking from personal experience?” Lily snarked.

“Not yet. But if he plays his cards right tonight, who knows.”
“Nice prank, man.”

“Thanks. It was child’s play.”
“So what are you three doing?”

“I’ll tell you what we’re doing,” Lily said with a look at her boyfriend, Kor. “We’re not dancing.”

“But there’s plenty of time to dance,” Elizabeth protested. “Let’s talk for a while.”
“About what?” Lily asked. “Teachers? School? Boring!”

“We could talk about the future,” Elizabeth said, shooting a look in Joss’ direction.

“What about it?” Joss said.

“You are totally unromantic.”

“You knew that when you started dating me. If you wanted Romance, you should date a Romance sim.”

“He’s got a point,” Lily said with a smirk.

Kor smiled at his girlfriend. “You’re only saying that because you’re a Romance Sim.”
“But in all seriousness, I don’t want to think about the future tonight. I just want to live in the moment. Take everything in. You
only live once you know. So let’s just live for right now and worry about tomorrow, tomorrow.”
“Good speech. Been practicing it long?” Kor whispered to his best friend.

Joss smirked but didn’t say anything.
So many people have come and gone
Their faces fade as the years go by
Yet I still recall as I wander on
As clear as the sun in the summer sky

                                        “More Than a Feeling” Boston
“Nice of you to dance with me.”

“Well, I don’t want to see any cousins throwing down and the bubbles were starting to become aggressive.”
“Is that the only reason you asked me to dance?”

“It’s not.”

“Oh?”

“You look really pretty in that dress.”
“So that’s the reason? Bubbles and I look pretty in the dress? No wonder you don’t have a girlfriend.”
“That’s not why I don’t have a girlfriend.”

“Oh?”
“I don’t have a girlfriend because no one could compare to you.”

“Oh.”
“You didn’t have to come, Doc. As you can see it’s pretty well chaperoned.”

“The bubbles in the fountain say otherwise.”

“That’s just because both you and I thought it’d be funny to let Joss get away with it.”

“Point. Still, I’ll feel better knowing that I’ve got my kids where I can watch them.”

“Drea’s not made any moves and the Creator hasn’t been sending me any warnings. Things should be fine at least for the
foreseeable future.”
“Do you really think that makes me feel better? My hood has Cypress in it.”

“But he’s immortal and Drea isn’t.”

“Which makes her even more dangerous, she’s on a schedule. Just because there’s a ceasefire doesn’t mean the war is over and
until I can kick Drea’s tombstone this thing isn’t over.”

“Hmmmm…”
Now and then I think of when we were together
Like when you said you felt so happy you could die
Told myself that you were right for me
But felt so lonely in your company
But that was love and it's an ache I still remember

“Somebody That I Used To Know” by Gotye
Spica slid into the seat next to Quinn, slightly out of breath and trying to hide the places which were dirt smudged from her her
landing. “Hi.”

“Hey, you made it. I was about to go to your house to see if you were okay.”

Spica frowned. “That wouldn’t have been a good idea.”

“Why not?”
“I kind of snuck out.”
“What? I thought your parents didn’t mind you coming out tonight.”

“They were fine with it until Maia got sticky fingers and I caught her. Now both of us are grounded, although I’m still not really
sure why I got grounded.”

“It’s probably a parent thing. Who knows what parents are thinking, you know?”

“Yeah, but it still sucks.”
“I’m glad you’re here. It would be as much fun if my best friend weren’t here.”

“Best friend, huh? I thought that was your twin.”

“Well, best friend outside of family. You know what I mean.”
“Yeah, I really kind of do. So what’d you want to do? I’m not planning on going home until the sun comes up or one of them gets a
clue and drags me back.”

“Whoa, hardcore. I was just kind of thinking we’d go for the usual. Watery punch and flailing around and calling it dancing.”
“That actually sounds kind of fun. The flailing around, not the watery punch part.”

“So let’s go! This song’s not half bad.”
As Spica and Quinn got up from the table, Lark climbed up on stage and tapped the microphone. The music cut off abruptly and all
eyes turned to look at the simself.
“Can I have your attention? Everyone, eyes front. I have the results of the schoolwide Prom King and Queen results. I have to
say that the race for king was pretty tight. There were three clear front runners: Israel Warner, Reed Familiar, and Quinn
Devereaux.”
Israel looked shocked. “Who nominated me?”

“I did,” Quinn whispered. “I figured the main house should get some representation.”

“Thanks, but my niece is a shoo-in for the girls. I could do without the awkwardness.”

“Sorry?”
“And the winner, but only four votes is Quinn Devereaux! Come on up here, Quinn.”
“Why’d you win? I wanted to be king!”

“Calm down, Familiar,” Israel said. “At least you don’t have to dance with Romania.”

“But what if I wanted to dance with her?”

“Then it’s your loss, I guess.”

Quinn ignored them, slightly stunned that he’d won.
He climbed the steps up onto the stage, ignoring the catcalls and wolf whistles from out in the crowd. He was sure that some of
them were from his sister and her friends. Which she had quite a lot of.
“Now for the queen. I hate to say it was a landslide, but it was a landslide. Romania Warner, get up here.”
“I won! I won!”
Romania’s trip up onto the stage was a lot more silent than Quinn’s, mostly because it was expected.
She gave her king a quick kiss on the cheek which he returned politely.
“I present to you your Prom King and Queen for this Generation. Quinn Devereaux and Romania Warner. Everyone give them a
round of applause.”
“So now what?” Quinn whispered.

“You’re supposed to lead me out for a dance.”

“A slow dance?”

“It’s tradition.”

“I’d rather not, if it’s okay with you.”

“So what are you planning on doing?”

“Just follow my lead.”
“Sure, whatever.”

Quinn turned around and whispered quickly to the DJ who was queuing up a slow dance. The spiky haired woman nodded and pulled
out a different record and gave Quinn a big nod.

“Ready?” he asked Romania.

“I’m ready.”
“Na je nun ta sa ro un in gan jo gin yo ja

“Whoa is that what I think it is?” Romania said reeling back.

“Just go with it!” Quinn insisted.
“A rum de wo sa rang su ro wo

“Keep going, they’re catching on!” Quinn said over the infectious music.

                                    “Gangnam Style” by Psy
“Hey, Reed, I like the tux.”

“Are you making a joke?”

“Um. No. I like the tux. It takes a real man to pull off pink without looking silly.”
“That’s what I said! But I’ve been being teased all night because I’ve got the balls to do what the other guys wouldn’t dream of.”

“Exactly. I’m sorry about your loss. You would have been a good king.”

“I know it. So what’s your name? I see you hanging out with Romania all the time. Maybe you could introduce me to her.”
“I’m Muscat Warner. She’s my cousin and she’s not interested in you.”

“How can you say that?”

“Because she’s my best friend and I know who she likes and it isn’t you. Sorry. But there’s someone else who likes you.”

“Oh yeah, and who’s that?”

“Me.”

“What?!”
“I just wanted you to know.” Muscat turned to walk away.

Reed stood there stunned for a few moments. “Wait, wait, why are you telling me this now.”

“It’s prom. It’s my chance to let you know how I feel. I’m sick of living in Romania’s shadow. I want my own time in the sun.”
“I get that. So dance?”

“I thought you’d never ask.”

“It only takes a few two by fours to get the point across.”

Muscat smiled. “I’ll have to remember to carry some in my cleavage.”

Reed gulped. “Cleavage?”

“Do you see any pockets in this dress?”
Reed pulled her closer. “No, but I like how it looks on you, Muscat Warner.”

“I like how I look with you, Reed Familiar.”
“Just a small town girl, livin' in a lonely world
She took the midnight train goin' anywhere
Just a city boy, born and raised in south Detroit
He took the midnight train goin' anywhere

A singer in a smoky room
A smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share the night
It goes on and on and on and on”
“Strangers waiting, up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching in the night
Streetlights people, living just to find emotion
       Hiding, somewhere in the night.

Working hard to get my fill,
          Everybody wants a thrill
Payin' anything to roll the dice,
             Just one more time
Some will win, some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues
          Oh, the movie never ends
It goes on and on and on and on”

“Hi,” Spica said a little breathlessly.

“Hi, yourself. How’d you like my little dance up there earlier?”

“It was kind of silly, but fun. I’m not sure why you did it though.”

“I would have thought it was obvious,” Quinn said, reaching down to take both of Spica’s hands into his. “I don’t want dance with
anyone other than you.”

“Oh!”

“I hope you don’t mind.”
“No, I don’t mind, ‘cause I don’t want to dance with anyone other than you.”

“I hope not. I’m not the sharing kind of Romance sim.”
“Closed off from love
     I didn't need the pain
   Once or twice was enough
And it was all in vain
      Time starts to pass
Before you know it you're frozen
“But something happened
For the very first time with you
My heart melted to the ground
     Found something true
 And everyone's looking 'round
   Thinking I'm going crazy”
“But I don't care what they say
      I'm in love with you
They try to pull me away
But they don't know the truth
My heart's crippled by the vein
     That I keep on closing
You cut me open and I

        Keep bleeding
  I Keep, keep bleeding love
       I keep bleeding
  I keep, keep bleeding love
        Keep bleeding
   Keep, keep bleeding love
You cut me open and I”
“Trying hard not to hear
      But they talk so loud
Their piercing sounds fill my ears
Try to fill me with doubt
Yet I know that their goal
Is to keep me from falling”
“But nothing's greater
Than the rush that comes with your embrace
And in this world of loneliness
              I see your face
          Yet everyone around me
        Thinks that I'm going crazy
               Maybe, maybe”

                                             “Bleeding Love” by Leona Lewis
“You’re glowing.”

Lily smiled. “You make me glow.”

“Liar.”

“So I’m a liar, what are you going to do about it?”
“I’ll think of something. But for now I just want to bask in the glow of the prettiest girl to ever walk the face of this earth.”

“Prettiest girl, huh?”

“Always were. Always will be.”
“Liar.”

“Then we’re both liars then. I love you, Lily.”

“I love you too, Koroneiki.”
“Look at them… They aren’t even a couple but here they are stinking up the dance floor.”

“You’re just jealous that your boyfriend stood you up. Sakura. Don’t try to hide it.”

“Hmph. When’s this thing over? I can’t wait to get home and forget this whole night ever existed!”

“Only an hour or so more.
“So why are we dancing again?” Wil asked.

“Because we’re friends, silly! And friends can dance with each other when ever they want to. And besides, you didn’t say no.”

“Is that going to be how this always works? I don’t say no, so it’s okay?”
“Yep! We’re bestest friends and we know what the other wants without them ever having to say anything. Isn’t that the
greatest?”

“I’m just lucky then that you knew I wanted to dance with a pretty girl.”

“Yep, you are super lucky.”
“You’re right I am lucky.”
“Remember the good times that we had?
I let them slip away from us when things got bad
How clearly I first saw you smilin' in the sun
Wanna feel your warmth upon me, I wanna be the one

               I will remember you
             Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
           Weep not for the memories”
“Mom?”

“Yeah, Joss?”

“I kind of need to ask you something.”

“I would have never guessed considering you pulled yourself away from pouring soap in fountains and snuggling your girlfriend’s
boobs to talk to me.”

“Mo-om!”

“So what’d you want?”
“A bunch of us want to go up to the old park in Bluewater and hang out. Do a whole graduation after party thing. It’d be
awesome!”

“Who’s a bunch of us?”

“Me, Kor, Lily, Elizabeth, Rose, and whoever else wants to come. Lily and Rose have everything all set up they’ve got bonfire stuff
and things for s’mores. You know how much I like s’mores.”

“It’s genetic.”
“So please, Mom, can I go?”

“I don’t know. I’m not comfortable with there being no adults there.”

“It’s not like we’re going to get pregnant, the director-person doesn’t have that mod installed. What’s the worst that could
happen? We get a little juiced and burnt s’mores. Big deal. And it’s not like we’re gonna be out all night maybe until one or two.
Three tops.”
“What’s the worst that could happen? Do you really want me to answer that?”

“Yeah, yeah I do.”

“The family still has enemies.”

“You mean that one maid.”

“Yeah, her.”

“She’s gone. No one’s seen her in years.”

“Oh Joss, if it’s one thing I know is that just because they’re gone doesn’t mean that they aren’t going to come back.”
“So you’re not going to let us go?”

“Not unless you can give me some kind of assurance that you’re going to be okay.”
“You want assurance? Fine how’s this for assurance, I’m dating the director-person’s daughter. Do you really think that she’s
going to let anything happen to one of her kids? Hell, no! She’s the avatar. And even more she’s a Family Sim. I bet she has a
big giant red fear of a relative dying right now. So nothing’s going to happen to me, because the director-person won’t let
anything happen to Elizabeth.”

“You make a good point. Okay, you can go. But we’re picking you up at one.”

“Mom!”
“That’s non-negotiable. One o’clock and we pick you up.”

“Fine. But you’re being a total buzz-kill.”

“The joys of being a parent,” Doc replied cheerfully patting her son on the shoulder. “Now go tell your friends the good news.”

“Fine, I will!”
“I'm so tired but I can't sleep
Standin' on the edge of something much too deep
It's funny how we feel so much but we cannot say a word
We are screaming inside, but we can't be heard

              But I will remember you
               Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
             Weep not for the memories”
“So, a bunch of us are going to go hang out after the prom at this old park. You want to come?”

“Do you want me to come?”
“Well, duh, that’s why I asked you? I want you to meet all of my family and friends so I can show you off to them.”

“Then I’d be delighted to go.”
“Hey Quinn, you wanna come to the after party?”

“Have you asked my sister yet and is Spica going?”

“I don’t know, probably. Someone’s bound to ask them. So, you in?”
“I’m in!”
“Oh my plumbbob! I have to talk to you!”

“Wha?”

“I just heard from Shoshana who heard it from Cecily who heard it from Gracie who heard it from Muscat who heard it from
Romania that you’re going out with my brother!”

“Again with the wha?”
“Are you dating my brother?”

“Quinn? Um, yeah? Gee, the rumor mill works fast.”

“Yeah-huh! Oh my plumbbob that’s awesome! I’m totally going to do the threatening thing to you later but for now I have to tell
everyone that my brother’s got a girlfriend!”

“Uh. Okay.”
“Hey, you wanna go up to the park tonight? Your date’s invited too.”

Lebanon glanced to Henry Austen then back to her cousin. “I don’t know. It’s kind of late and shower curtains really aren’t all
that warm.”
“I shall keep you warm, my dear lady,” Henry said, stepping forward to take Lebanon’s hands.

“Then we’re in.”

“Awesome. I’ll see you there!”
“Hey, you know that there’s a party going on after the dance?”

“Yeah. Lily couldn’t stop talking about it in Gran- uh – Mr. Fitzhugh’s class.”

“You want to come?”
“Oh Em Gee! Are you like asking me on a date!”

“What?!”

“Yes! Yes! Of course I’ll come. You are the bestest friend ever!”

“Why do I feel like I’m missing something whenever I talk to you?”
“This is going to be a night to remember!”

“I'm so afraid to love you, but more afraid to lose
Clinging to a past that doesn't let me choose
Once there was a darkness, deep and endless night
You gave me everything you had, oh you gave me light

                                                    And I will remember you
                                                     Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories “
                                                               ~*~

“I Will Remember You” by Sarah McLachlan
That’s where I’m going to end it. I’ve been not looking forward to this chapter for a while. Simply because of the sheer number
of sims needed for it.

Speaking of there are some people I need to thank for the use of their simselves and sims: Peasant007, DocSupremeNerd,
Orikes, RegacyLady, SmoothieQueen, FireFlower314, Ndainye, and anyone else I am forgetting. Seriously, I had like 50 sims on
the lot. My computer was not happy with me.
As a warning, don’t play poker with Sim!Lark or Real!Lark, they win all the chips.

More thanks go out to Peasant007 and DocSupremeNerd who got to hear all of the whining associated with this chapter.

I’m hoping to keep up the pace for the foreseeable future and keep getting things out in a timely manner. I am doing SimCremo
again this year and if that is any indication, I will be pumping out the chapters.

I really look forward to hearing what you think. Comments, feedback, and reviews are the only currency we receive for our
efforts.

Until next time, Happy simming!

Yakko's World OWBC - Pennod Deunaw

  • 1. So, I am apparently on a roll with updating. This is a good thing, right? Last time The United States of America was born and it wasn’t even the Fourth of July. Palau found out about her future and then proceeded to act out, like a teenager. If this doesn’t sound familiar, I suggest reading the previous chapter to catch up. This chapter contains adult concepts and a metric butt-ton of song lyrics. You have been warned.
  • 2. ~*~
  • 3. “I can’t believe you didn’t talk to me first! Letting our kids go out unsupervised. What were you thinking?” “I was thinking that the director-person and several other responsible adult types were going to be there.” “But we aren’t going to be, that’s the problem!” “It’s just the prom, I don’t get why it’s a big deal.” “It’s a big deal because Drea is still out there.” “But she thinks Onslow’s dead. We made sure of that.” “And do you think she’s just going to stop there? How naïve are you?”
  • 4. “But it’s not like she’s going to come after us, we aren’t even Warners.” “Have you looked at Pico? He looks like his father. If she sees him, I don’t want to know what would happen. I’m with them at school. You’re here with them at home. We are always there. But if they go to the prom, they won’t be under our protection and I’m afraid of what will happen.” “Do you really think the director-person would let anything happen with her own kids in the line of fire?” “No. But I don’t want to take the risk. Please, Kelvin. For Pico’s sake and my peace of mind.” “Fine. You’re a stubborn woman.” “I know. But I love our family.” “Let’s do it.”
  • 6. “Whatcha want?” Ash asked. “Go grab two of the chairs from the dining room and sit down,” Kelvin responded.
  • 7. Once everyone was seated, Burundi began. “We’ve call you all here to tell you that your father made a mistake when he gave permission to go to the prom. He was wrong. Because of the danger this family is in. No one is going.”
  • 8. Burundi tried to explain further but her voice was drowned out by seven teenagers all talking at once.
  • 9. “It’s all your fault,” Teak snarled at Mika. “If you hadn’t come here, we could have still gone.” “Teak,” Picoline said softly. “It’s not her fault. She didn’t ask to be orphaned.” “Maybe not, but it’s the reason why we can’t go to prom.”
  • 10. “Teak!” his twin Ebony chastized. But Mika was able and willing to defend herself. “Do you think I wanted my parents and siblings dead? My twin? Do you think I’m happy to be missing my big night with my boyfriend? I’m not. But it’s not my fault that some psycho-bitch ho had her hate on for our uncle and that she sees us all as threats. Because my mom, one of the nicest people ever, unlike you.”
  • 11. “Kids stop it!” Kelvin shouted getting the teens’ attention again. “We aren’t here to play the blame game. We’re here to keep you safe.” “And that means no prom.”
  • 12. The kids all groaned. Burundi ignored it. “So if there’s no more pointless protests, let’s have dinner.”
  • 13. That night, Burundi and Kelvin set up a plan to watch the various exits to make sure none of the kids had the bright idea to sneak out. Burundi got the front porch and the windows from the kids room. While Kelvin got the back and the telescope balcony. It was a good thing they did too.
  • 14. “Just what do you think you’re doing?” “Um…”
  • 15. “Teak, I know you want to go dance and make out with your girlfriend.” “It’s not just that Dad, she’s going to think I stood her up.” “Just tell her you were grounded, which by the way, you totally are.” “Busted.” “Indeed. Now get back inside before your mother sees you.”
  • 16. “Going someplace?” “Um…” “Go back inside, Mika. If he’s any kind of man, he’ll understand.” ~*~
  • 17. ~*~
  • 18.
  • 19. “Maia, what are you doing?”
  • 20. “What’s it look like, crybaby?” “It looks like you’re in Mama Mary’s drawer.” “Ding, ding, ding. You’d be correct.” “But why?”
  • 21. “She’s got some sweet bling that I want to wear to the prom.” “Did you ask her?” “She won’t say no.” “That doesn’t sound like a yes. That’s stealing, Maia.”
  • 22. “So what if it is? What are you going to do about it, crybaby? Tell?” “I should.” “But you won’t.”
  • 23. “I won’t if you put what you took back.” “Make me.” “Mom! Dad! Mama Mary!” “Bitch!”
  • 24. “Did you hear shouting?” “It sounds like it’s coming from our bedroom”
  • 25. The three adults walked to the doorway of their shared bedroom to find Maia shoving her sister. “Girls! What is this?” Frank said stepping into the room.
  • 26. “The crybaby’s sticking her nose where it isn’t wanted,” Maia answered with a snarl. “And Maia’s just mad at me ‘cause I caught her stealing!” “Did not!” “Did so!” “Did not!” “Did so!” “Did not!” “Did so!”
  • 27. “Girls! Both of you on the couch now!” “See what you did, crybaby!” “I’m not the thief!” “I don’t care, who did what. Couch! Now!”
  • 28. I thought we raised you better than that.” “You didn’t raise us at all,” Maia snapped. All three adults reeled back in shock at her words.
  • 29. “Explain yourself right now.” “So now you care about us, it’s about time.” “Your mothers and I have always cared about you.” “Fat lot you showed us. You’ve been so wrapped up in the three of you that there’s no room for anyone else.” “Is that how you both see it?”
  • 30. Spica gnawed on one fingernail. “I used to think that, especially after a day when Maia was really mean to me, but then I came to realize that you were trusting us to come get you if we needed something. You made sure we were fed, clean, and had stuff to do. It was our responsibility to do our homework, although you’d help us if we asked, and do our chores. You were trying to give us our freedom. At least that’s what I think now. There are times, though, that I wish you were more hands on. Maybe…” she trailed off not wanting to give voice to her thoughts.
  • 31. Spica glanced back up to see that Mary was crying while her parents looked pissed. The girl sighed and centered herself for an explosion. It wasn’t long in coming. “Damn right we trusted you to behave and come to us. Now I see that it was a mistake. Obviously you two aren’t worthy of having freedom and independence. You want tyrants for parents you can have them.” ‘”Starting now!” Frank interjected, pointing his finger for emphasis.
  • 32. “Right,” Star agreed. “Maia, you’ve been accused of stealing.” “Do you have proof other than the crybaby’s word?” “And that’s another thing, the name calling, it stops now.” “Why? You call Mama Mary ‘history-britches’ all the time.” “That’s something totally different. As for you, Spica.” The girl flinched. “You should have come to us when Maia started bullying you.” “I didn’t want to be a tattle-tale.” “Doesn’t matter now. Both of you are grounded. Maia for three months. Spica for two weeks.” “No fair!” Maia exclaimed.
  • 33. “Nice job, crybaby.” “Three months and one week now, Maia,” Frank added. “Every time you call your sister a name you’re going to add a week to your grounding.” Maia growled but didn’t say anything.
  • 34. “Um. Can I still go to prom?” Spica asked softly.
  • 35. “What part of grounding didn’t you get? We both can’t go to prom.” “But I’m supposed to meet Quinn there.” “Too bad. He’s cute and a movie star’s son, I bet all of the girls will be swooning over him. He could end up going steady with someone if you don’t watch out.”
  • 36. “Yeah,” Spica said looking stricken.
  • 37. That night, Spica didn’t sleep, laying in bed until the snores of her siblings started their nightly symphony. She slipped out of bed and pulled on her silk dress and packed a few clothes into a bag. She knew she was going to catch hell for sneaking out, she just hoped that Uncle Oz and Aunt Doc would put her up until the worst blew over.
  • 38. She slipped out onto the balcony, thankful that the bubble blower and hot tub weren’t in use. Stepping to the edge, she dropped the bag over then started climbing over carefully herself.
  • 39.
  • 40.
  • 41. “Okay girl just let go.”
  • 42.
  • 43. Spica picked up the small bag with her clothes, dusted herself off, and glanced around. No one seemed to had heard her. She smiled to herself. Perfect. Now she had a prom to get to. ~*~
  • 44. If I leave here tomorrow Would you still remember me? For I must be traveling on, now 'Cause there's too many places I've got to see But, if I stayed here with you, girl Things just couldn't be the same
  • 45. 'Cause I'm as free as a bird now And this bird you can not change And this bird you can not change And this bird you can not change Lord knows, I can't change
  • 46. Bye, bye, baby it's been a sweet love Though this feeling I can't change But please don't take it so badly 'Cause Lord knows I'm to blame But, if I stayed here with you girl Things just couldn't be the same
  • 47. 'Cause I'm as free as a bird now And this bird you can not change And the bird you can not change And this bird you can not change Lord knows, I can't change Lord help me, I can't change Lord I can't change Won't you fly, free bird, yeah. “Freebird “by Lynyrd Skynyrd
  • 48. “I think I hear bubbling.” “It’s probably just the fishtank.” “It sounds like someone is putting soap in a fountain.” “How would you know the sound of that?” “It’s a long story.” “Why don’t you tell it to me?”
  • 50. “Your cousin is pouring soap in the fountain.” “Family trait.”
  • 51. “Does that mean you’re going to pour soap in fountains?” “Me? No. Do you really think I could fit a soap box in this dress?” “Um…” “I mean where would I put it. It’s all Romania under here.” “Uh…”
  • 52. “Still, I wish he’d picked a different fountain to pour soap in. If the bubbles stain my dress I will end you, Joss Whedon Warner, nice points be damned.” Joss snorted but didn’t say anything.
  • 53. “He’s coming back.” “He’s lucky he didn’t get caught,” Kor said. “He’s got balls for doing that behind Mr. Stephens back, though.” “Of course, he does,” Elizabeth said defending her boyfriend. “Speaking from personal experience?” Lily snarked. “Not yet. But if he plays his cards right tonight, who knows.”
  • 54. “Nice prank, man.” “Thanks. It was child’s play.”
  • 55. “So what are you three doing?” “I’ll tell you what we’re doing,” Lily said with a look at her boyfriend, Kor. “We’re not dancing.” “But there’s plenty of time to dance,” Elizabeth protested. “Let’s talk for a while.”
  • 56. “About what?” Lily asked. “Teachers? School? Boring!” “We could talk about the future,” Elizabeth said, shooting a look in Joss’ direction. “What about it?” Joss said. “You are totally unromantic.” “You knew that when you started dating me. If you wanted Romance, you should date a Romance sim.” “He’s got a point,” Lily said with a smirk. Kor smiled at his girlfriend. “You’re only saying that because you’re a Romance Sim.”
  • 57. “But in all seriousness, I don’t want to think about the future tonight. I just want to live in the moment. Take everything in. You only live once you know. So let’s just live for right now and worry about tomorrow, tomorrow.”
  • 58. “Good speech. Been practicing it long?” Kor whispered to his best friend. Joss smirked but didn’t say anything.
  • 59. So many people have come and gone Their faces fade as the years go by Yet I still recall as I wander on As clear as the sun in the summer sky “More Than a Feeling” Boston
  • 60.
  • 61. “Nice of you to dance with me.” “Well, I don’t want to see any cousins throwing down and the bubbles were starting to become aggressive.”
  • 62. “Is that the only reason you asked me to dance?” “It’s not.” “Oh?” “You look really pretty in that dress.”
  • 63. “So that’s the reason? Bubbles and I look pretty in the dress? No wonder you don’t have a girlfriend.”
  • 64. “That’s not why I don’t have a girlfriend.” “Oh?”
  • 65. “I don’t have a girlfriend because no one could compare to you.” “Oh.”
  • 66.
  • 67. “You didn’t have to come, Doc. As you can see it’s pretty well chaperoned.” “The bubbles in the fountain say otherwise.” “That’s just because both you and I thought it’d be funny to let Joss get away with it.” “Point. Still, I’ll feel better knowing that I’ve got my kids where I can watch them.” “Drea’s not made any moves and the Creator hasn’t been sending me any warnings. Things should be fine at least for the foreseeable future.”
  • 68. “Do you really think that makes me feel better? My hood has Cypress in it.” “But he’s immortal and Drea isn’t.” “Which makes her even more dangerous, she’s on a schedule. Just because there’s a ceasefire doesn’t mean the war is over and until I can kick Drea’s tombstone this thing isn’t over.” “Hmmmm…”
  • 69. Now and then I think of when we were together Like when you said you felt so happy you could die Told myself that you were right for me But felt so lonely in your company But that was love and it's an ache I still remember “Somebody That I Used To Know” by Gotye
  • 70. Spica slid into the seat next to Quinn, slightly out of breath and trying to hide the places which were dirt smudged from her her landing. “Hi.” “Hey, you made it. I was about to go to your house to see if you were okay.” Spica frowned. “That wouldn’t have been a good idea.” “Why not?”
  • 71. “I kind of snuck out.”
  • 72. “What? I thought your parents didn’t mind you coming out tonight.” “They were fine with it until Maia got sticky fingers and I caught her. Now both of us are grounded, although I’m still not really sure why I got grounded.” “It’s probably a parent thing. Who knows what parents are thinking, you know?” “Yeah, but it still sucks.”
  • 73. “I’m glad you’re here. It would be as much fun if my best friend weren’t here.” “Best friend, huh? I thought that was your twin.” “Well, best friend outside of family. You know what I mean.”
  • 74. “Yeah, I really kind of do. So what’d you want to do? I’m not planning on going home until the sun comes up or one of them gets a clue and drags me back.” “Whoa, hardcore. I was just kind of thinking we’d go for the usual. Watery punch and flailing around and calling it dancing.”
  • 75. “That actually sounds kind of fun. The flailing around, not the watery punch part.” “So let’s go! This song’s not half bad.”
  • 76. As Spica and Quinn got up from the table, Lark climbed up on stage and tapped the microphone. The music cut off abruptly and all eyes turned to look at the simself.
  • 77. “Can I have your attention? Everyone, eyes front. I have the results of the schoolwide Prom King and Queen results. I have to say that the race for king was pretty tight. There were three clear front runners: Israel Warner, Reed Familiar, and Quinn Devereaux.”
  • 78. Israel looked shocked. “Who nominated me?” “I did,” Quinn whispered. “I figured the main house should get some representation.” “Thanks, but my niece is a shoo-in for the girls. I could do without the awkwardness.” “Sorry?”
  • 79. “And the winner, but only four votes is Quinn Devereaux! Come on up here, Quinn.”
  • 80. “Why’d you win? I wanted to be king!” “Calm down, Familiar,” Israel said. “At least you don’t have to dance with Romania.” “But what if I wanted to dance with her?” “Then it’s your loss, I guess.” Quinn ignored them, slightly stunned that he’d won.
  • 81. He climbed the steps up onto the stage, ignoring the catcalls and wolf whistles from out in the crowd. He was sure that some of them were from his sister and her friends. Which she had quite a lot of.
  • 82. “Now for the queen. I hate to say it was a landslide, but it was a landslide. Romania Warner, get up here.”
  • 83. “I won! I won!”
  • 84. Romania’s trip up onto the stage was a lot more silent than Quinn’s, mostly because it was expected.
  • 85. She gave her king a quick kiss on the cheek which he returned politely.
  • 86. “I present to you your Prom King and Queen for this Generation. Quinn Devereaux and Romania Warner. Everyone give them a round of applause.”
  • 87. “So now what?” Quinn whispered. “You’re supposed to lead me out for a dance.” “A slow dance?” “It’s tradition.” “I’d rather not, if it’s okay with you.” “So what are you planning on doing?” “Just follow my lead.”
  • 88. “Sure, whatever.” Quinn turned around and whispered quickly to the DJ who was queuing up a slow dance. The spiky haired woman nodded and pulled out a different record and gave Quinn a big nod. “Ready?” he asked Romania. “I’m ready.”
  • 89. “Na je nun ta sa ro un in gan jo gin yo ja Ko pi han ja ne yo yu rul a neun pum gyo gi nun yo ja Ba mi o myon shim ja ngi tu go wo ji nun yo ja Gu ron ban jon i nun yo ja Na nun sa na ye Na je nun no man kum ta sa ro un gu ron sa na ye Ko pi shik gi do jo ne one shot te ri nun sa na ye Ba mi o myon shim ja ngi to jyo bo ri nun sa na ye Gu ron sa na ye” “Whoa is that what I think it is?” Romania said reeling back. “Just go with it!” Quinn insisted.
  • 90. “A rum de wo sa rang su ro wo Gu re no hey gu re ba ro no hey A reum de wo sa rang su ro wo Gu re no hey gu re ba ro no hey Ji gum bu to gal de ka ji ga bol ka” “Keep going, they’re catching on!” Quinn said over the infectious music.
  • 91. ”Oppan Gangnam Style Gangnam Style Op op op op oppan Gangnam Style Gangnam Style Op op op op oppan Gangnam Style” ”So, you’re okay with this being our dance?” ”It’s sure a lot of fun!” ”It is!”
  • 92. “Eh~ Sexy lady Op op op op oppan Gangnam Style “ “Gangnam Style” by Psy
  • 93. “Hey, Reed, I like the tux.” “Are you making a joke?” “Um. No. I like the tux. It takes a real man to pull off pink without looking silly.”
  • 94. “That’s what I said! But I’ve been being teased all night because I’ve got the balls to do what the other guys wouldn’t dream of.” “Exactly. I’m sorry about your loss. You would have been a good king.” “I know it. So what’s your name? I see you hanging out with Romania all the time. Maybe you could introduce me to her.”
  • 95. “I’m Muscat Warner. She’s my cousin and she’s not interested in you.” “How can you say that?” “Because she’s my best friend and I know who she likes and it isn’t you. Sorry. But there’s someone else who likes you.” “Oh yeah, and who’s that?” “Me.” “What?!”
  • 96. “I just wanted you to know.” Muscat turned to walk away. Reed stood there stunned for a few moments. “Wait, wait, why are you telling me this now.” “It’s prom. It’s my chance to let you know how I feel. I’m sick of living in Romania’s shadow. I want my own time in the sun.”
  • 97. “I get that. So dance?” “I thought you’d never ask.” “It only takes a few two by fours to get the point across.” Muscat smiled. “I’ll have to remember to carry some in my cleavage.” Reed gulped. “Cleavage?” “Do you see any pockets in this dress?”
  • 98. Reed pulled her closer. “No, but I like how it looks on you, Muscat Warner.” “I like how I look with you, Reed Familiar.”
  • 99. “Just a small town girl, livin' in a lonely world She took the midnight train goin' anywhere Just a city boy, born and raised in south Detroit He took the midnight train goin' anywhere A singer in a smoky room A smell of wine and cheap perfume For a smile they can share the night It goes on and on and on and on”
  • 100. “Strangers waiting, up and down the boulevard Their shadows searching in the night Streetlights people, living just to find emotion Hiding, somewhere in the night. Working hard to get my fill, Everybody wants a thrill Payin' anything to roll the dice, Just one more time Some will win, some will lose Some were born to sing the blues Oh, the movie never ends It goes on and on and on and on” “Don’t Stop Beleivin’” by Journey
  • 101. “Hi,” Spica said a little breathlessly. “Hi, yourself. How’d you like my little dance up there earlier?” “It was kind of silly, but fun. I’m not sure why you did it though.” “I would have thought it was obvious,” Quinn said, reaching down to take both of Spica’s hands into his. “I don’t want dance with anyone other than you.” “Oh!” “I hope you don’t mind.”
  • 102. “No, I don’t mind, ‘cause I don’t want to dance with anyone other than you.” “I hope not. I’m not the sharing kind of Romance sim.”
  • 103. “Closed off from love I didn't need the pain Once or twice was enough And it was all in vain Time starts to pass Before you know it you're frozen
  • 104. “But something happened For the very first time with you My heart melted to the ground Found something true And everyone's looking 'round Thinking I'm going crazy”
  • 105. “But I don't care what they say I'm in love with you They try to pull me away But they don't know the truth My heart's crippled by the vein That I keep on closing You cut me open and I Keep bleeding I Keep, keep bleeding love I keep bleeding I keep, keep bleeding love Keep bleeding Keep, keep bleeding love You cut me open and I”
  • 106. “Trying hard not to hear But they talk so loud Their piercing sounds fill my ears Try to fill me with doubt Yet I know that their goal Is to keep me from falling”
  • 107. “But nothing's greater Than the rush that comes with your embrace And in this world of loneliness I see your face Yet everyone around me Thinks that I'm going crazy Maybe, maybe” “Bleeding Love” by Leona Lewis
  • 108. “You’re glowing.” Lily smiled. “You make me glow.” “Liar.” “So I’m a liar, what are you going to do about it?”
  • 109. “I’ll think of something. But for now I just want to bask in the glow of the prettiest girl to ever walk the face of this earth.” “Prettiest girl, huh?” “Always were. Always will be.”
  • 110. “Liar.” “Then we’re both liars then. I love you, Lily.” “I love you too, Koroneiki.”
  • 111. “Look at them… They aren’t even a couple but here they are stinking up the dance floor.” “You’re just jealous that your boyfriend stood you up. Sakura. Don’t try to hide it.” “Hmph. When’s this thing over? I can’t wait to get home and forget this whole night ever existed!” “Only an hour or so more.
  • 112. “So why are we dancing again?” Wil asked. “Because we’re friends, silly! And friends can dance with each other when ever they want to. And besides, you didn’t say no.” “Is that going to be how this always works? I don’t say no, so it’s okay?”
  • 113. “Yep! We’re bestest friends and we know what the other wants without them ever having to say anything. Isn’t that the greatest?” “I’m just lucky then that you knew I wanted to dance with a pretty girl.” “Yep, you are super lucky.”
  • 114. “You’re right I am lucky.”
  • 115. “Remember the good times that we had? I let them slip away from us when things got bad How clearly I first saw you smilin' in the sun Wanna feel your warmth upon me, I wanna be the one I will remember you Will you remember me? Don't let your life pass you by Weep not for the memories”
  • 116. “Mom?” “Yeah, Joss?” “I kind of need to ask you something.” “I would have never guessed considering you pulled yourself away from pouring soap in fountains and snuggling your girlfriend’s boobs to talk to me.” “Mo-om!” “So what’d you want?”
  • 117. “A bunch of us want to go up to the old park in Bluewater and hang out. Do a whole graduation after party thing. It’d be awesome!” “Who’s a bunch of us?” “Me, Kor, Lily, Elizabeth, Rose, and whoever else wants to come. Lily and Rose have everything all set up they’ve got bonfire stuff and things for s’mores. You know how much I like s’mores.” “It’s genetic.”
  • 118. “So please, Mom, can I go?” “I don’t know. I’m not comfortable with there being no adults there.” “It’s not like we’re going to get pregnant, the director-person doesn’t have that mod installed. What’s the worst that could happen? We get a little juiced and burnt s’mores. Big deal. And it’s not like we’re gonna be out all night maybe until one or two. Three tops.”
  • 119. “What’s the worst that could happen? Do you really want me to answer that?” “Yeah, yeah I do.” “The family still has enemies.” “You mean that one maid.” “Yeah, her.” “She’s gone. No one’s seen her in years.” “Oh Joss, if it’s one thing I know is that just because they’re gone doesn’t mean that they aren’t going to come back.”
  • 120. “So you’re not going to let us go?” “Not unless you can give me some kind of assurance that you’re going to be okay.”
  • 121. “You want assurance? Fine how’s this for assurance, I’m dating the director-person’s daughter. Do you really think that she’s going to let anything happen to one of her kids? Hell, no! She’s the avatar. And even more she’s a Family Sim. I bet she has a big giant red fear of a relative dying right now. So nothing’s going to happen to me, because the director-person won’t let anything happen to Elizabeth.” “You make a good point. Okay, you can go. But we’re picking you up at one.” “Mom!”
  • 122. “That’s non-negotiable. One o’clock and we pick you up.” “Fine. But you’re being a total buzz-kill.” “The joys of being a parent,” Doc replied cheerfully patting her son on the shoulder. “Now go tell your friends the good news.” “Fine, I will!”
  • 123. “I'm so tired but I can't sleep Standin' on the edge of something much too deep It's funny how we feel so much but we cannot say a word We are screaming inside, but we can't be heard But I will remember you Will you remember me? Don't let your life pass you by Weep not for the memories”
  • 124. “So, a bunch of us are going to go hang out after the prom at this old park. You want to come?” “Do you want me to come?”
  • 125. “Well, duh, that’s why I asked you? I want you to meet all of my family and friends so I can show you off to them.” “Then I’d be delighted to go.”
  • 126.
  • 127. “Hey Quinn, you wanna come to the after party?” “Have you asked my sister yet and is Spica going?” “I don’t know, probably. Someone’s bound to ask them. So, you in?”
  • 129. “Oh my plumbbob! I have to talk to you!” “Wha?” “I just heard from Shoshana who heard it from Cecily who heard it from Gracie who heard it from Muscat who heard it from Romania that you’re going out with my brother!” “Again with the wha?”
  • 130. “Are you dating my brother?” “Quinn? Um, yeah? Gee, the rumor mill works fast.” “Yeah-huh! Oh my plumbbob that’s awesome! I’m totally going to do the threatening thing to you later but for now I have to tell everyone that my brother’s got a girlfriend!” “Uh. Okay.”
  • 131. “Hey, you wanna go up to the park tonight? Your date’s invited too.” Lebanon glanced to Henry Austen then back to her cousin. “I don’t know. It’s kind of late and shower curtains really aren’t all that warm.”
  • 132. “I shall keep you warm, my dear lady,” Henry said, stepping forward to take Lebanon’s hands. “Then we’re in.” “Awesome. I’ll see you there!”
  • 133. “Hey, you know that there’s a party going on after the dance?” “Yeah. Lily couldn’t stop talking about it in Gran- uh – Mr. Fitzhugh’s class.” “You want to come?”
  • 134. “Oh Em Gee! Are you like asking me on a date!” “What?!” “Yes! Yes! Of course I’ll come. You are the bestest friend ever!” “Why do I feel like I’m missing something whenever I talk to you?”
  • 135. “This is going to be a night to remember!” “I'm so afraid to love you, but more afraid to lose Clinging to a past that doesn't let me choose Once there was a darkness, deep and endless night You gave me everything you had, oh you gave me light And I will remember you Will you remember me? Don't let your life pass you by Weep not for the memories “ ~*~ “I Will Remember You” by Sarah McLachlan
  • 136. That’s where I’m going to end it. I’ve been not looking forward to this chapter for a while. Simply because of the sheer number of sims needed for it. Speaking of there are some people I need to thank for the use of their simselves and sims: Peasant007, DocSupremeNerd, Orikes, RegacyLady, SmoothieQueen, FireFlower314, Ndainye, and anyone else I am forgetting. Seriously, I had like 50 sims on the lot. My computer was not happy with me.
  • 137. I am doing SimCremo again this year and if that is any indication, I will be pumping out the chapters. I really look forward to hearing what you think. Comments, feedback, and reviews are the only currency we receive for our efforts. Until next time, Happy simming!
