  2. 2. What does the word different mean?<br />Different Means: Not alike<br />Examples: A dog is different than a cat. <br />
  3. 3. How do you Observe?<br />Observe Means: to see, watch, or to notice. <br />When observing you are learning while paying attention to what you are observing. <br />Example: A student is observing a globe.<br />
  4. 4. Putting It TogetherObserving Differences<br />To observe differences you must.<br />Look at what you are observing.<br />Write down what it looks like: what color it is, how tall it is, what shape is it (round, square, tall, short). <br />Write down what it is: animal, plant, toy, ect.<br />You must then do the same for the second thing you are observing.<br />Write down what it looks like: what color it is, how tall it is, what shape is it (round, square, tall, short).<br />

Continued Observing Differences<br />Now you must compare the two things you observed. <br />Ask your self these questions:<br />Are they the same color?<br />Are they the same shape?<br />Are they the same thing?<br />4. Write down how they are different or not alike. <br />5. You have now found how two things are different. By observing their differences. <br />

  8. 8. One is green and one is brown.
  9. 9. One is on a stem and the other is on a leaf. </li></ul>1. <br /><ul><li>The first one is pink and the second is yellow.
  10. 10. You can see the stem in the second & other flowers.
  11. 11. You can see more than just the flower in the second picture. </li></ul>2. <br />
