Examples of initiatives, projects with goals as:

 Save energy in private households
 Improvements for the environment as well as economical gains

Gains, examples;

 Saving money
 Time saved getting through heavy traffic in cities
 Better environment for example air quality in cities

Through enhanced decision making by supporting companies as well as individuals in large as well as every day life decisions. Key being the individual level in every day life, how you and me can gain from open data with a very small and easy effort, feeling helped by data.

Future moving towards:

 Availability of private/personal data as open, public (anonymised) data
 (Data as fuel for new creative start ups - already partly seen)
 - as well as enhancements for existing companies, currently close to being a secret, very few initiatives seen so far.
