Since its launch, the Twitter website has become one of the top 10 most visited on the Internet, and has been described as "the SMS of the Internet." Unregistered users can read tweets, while registered users can post tweets through the website interface, SMS, or a range of apps for mobile devices. Uses for HR Why use Twitter? Yes, Twitter can be used for sending out random thoughts. Yes, Twitter can be used for sharing pictures. Yes, Twitter has spam. Yes, Twitter is used by teenagers. What about connecting with other HR professionals? Can Twitter do that? YES! You can connect with anyone worldwide who has a Twitter account.What if you could have a chat - or virtual meeting - with HR professionals from across the country?Can Twitter do that? YES! Using the website - for easiest access and reading - tweetchat.com youcan choose the topic of your choice and chat about it.
