Web Color Presentation

  1. 1. Will Moore Justus Miller
  2. 2. The NHL website uses great blending between gray and black. These are Neutral colors. Most of the teams in the NHL use warm or neutral colors as team colors.
  3. 3. The Official Johnny Cash website memorializes him through warm, rebellious colors. Golden fire sits on top of the bronze brown and makes his portrait pop. The tool bar at the bottom is mossy green because when Johnny was young he served four years in the Air Force.
  4. 4. Fox59.com uses the popping blend of blood red and dark blue to catch attention. As a news site, they wanted it to be able to pop and make you want to look at it. Its been proven that red is distracting to the eye. That’s why muscle cars and cop lights are red.
  5. 5. NBA.com has a lot of blues and reds. This keeps the reader/viewers attention. Blue and read, like on the Fox59 site, is grabbing to the eye. People pay more attention to blues and reds if they are bright enough.
  6. 6. NFL.com uses shades of dark blue to black to be calming on the eye. These colors don’t pop and makes your eyes tense up.
  7. 7. Dodge uses many different colors on their site depending on what deals they are having. Most times though, they use black with red o n top. This pops and immediately catches the eye. They are a muscle/luxury car brand so they really want to catch your attention.
