-Big Ass Blogging MistakesI was browsing around the 'net today and thought I'd Google "how to make
money with empower network." As an Empower Network affiliate, I'm always
interested in learning about the creative new ways my fellow bloggers are helping
others.
What I found really surprised me. Most of the "top ten" results in Google for this
search term were just terribly written articles that essentially shouted out,
"Empower Network is awesome, join under me now!" They didn't offer any value
AT ALL to the reader. I just don't get how someone can post such a blatantly
selfish article and expect people to start rolling in behind them and joining
Empower Network.

2. What attracted YOU to Empower Network?
What kind of "pitch" pushed you over the edge and motivated you to pull out that credit
card and sign up?
I'm pretty sure it wasn't a crappy little post saying' "EN is great, buy from me NOW!"
You were convinced in some way, fashion, or form that this was the right thing for you.
You were probably inspired by someone's story, or impressed by someone's honest
effort to tell it like it is.
What I'm saying' is simply this. Folks are trying to sell, sell, sell and are wonderin' why no
one's buying. The fact is, no one likes to be sold to… they wanna BUY.
So, ease up on the Billy Mays routine and just give people what they really want.
Information. Satisfy their needs. Solve their problems.
Let THEM decide to buy.

3. If you write your blog with the goal of helping people instead of selling to
them, you'll make it lot farther.
Think about it.
Again… Put yourself in the readers' shoes. You visit a blog--you probably
landed there from a keyword search you entered in Google.
That means you're looking for something.
What's gonna keep you from hitting that "back" button? A bunch of spammy
sales hype or good, quality, content that matches what you were searching
for?
The answer's obvious, right?

4. So many Empower Network affiliates are overlooking this. If you wanna know
how to make money with Empower Network, the first thing you need to do is
stop selling with your blog!
Start serving people's needs and gaining their trust.
Then they will follow.
