Kate Walling founded Secret Ingredients, one of the first websites that allowed users to create their own cookbooks. Secret Ingredients sold two lines of family cookbooks - Heirloom Cookbooks launched in 2005 starting at $195, and more affordable Keepsake Cookbooks launched later that year starting at $29.95. The website had over 42,000 user-generated recipes and acquired customers in 49 US states. Kate Walling later founded Scrappy Face, a consulting agency that helps small businesses and startups with branding, marketing, social media, websites, and entrepreneurship. Scrappy Face works with a variety of clients and has a team of over 20 consultants.
