Took 22 years for construction 22,000 workers were involved Around 40 lakh rupees were spent over it
  2. 2. It is made of white marble and the platform is of red sandstone. Each tower is 133 feet tall Building is 186 feet high and 70 feet wide. It serves as a tourist attraction. It can hold 10 thousand people at once. There are two rivers. Yamuna , Chakka The Taj Mahal dome is onion shaped. It was built manually. The Taj Mahal is one of the new seven wonders of the world in the year 2007. The base is essentially a cube with chamfered edges and is roughly 55 meter on each side
  3. 3. Taj Minaret Four minarets, one at each corner of the plinth, facing the chamfered corners, frame the tomb. The main chamber houses ,the cenotaphs of Mumtaz Mahal and Shah Jahan with their graves located on lower level.
