  • For those of you that are not familiar with our company, Eloqua is the category-defining marketing automation platform. We created this space; our technical innovations and expertise have been proven to drive stunning growth rates in some of the most successful businesses today. I am happy to provide some specific examples later in this presentation. The space we are in continues to evolve rapidly and our thought leadership keeps us at the forefront of those changes.   • Eloqua’s 550 customers come in all shapes and sizes. We power some of the biggest technology companies in the world, like Nokia, Seagate and VMWare. Yet, almost 50% of our customer base is made up of companies under $50M in revenue. These segments have very different needs, and the flexibility of our solution and product packages allows us to meet those varying needs on a common platform. We have traditionally sold into markets that are aggressive users of Web marketing tactics and offer a ‘considered purchase’ product or service. This includes high tech markets like hardware, software, web based services with deep penetration in niche markets like SaaS and open source companies. Business services like payroll and HR are a great fit for Eloqua. We count leading companies Administaff, ADP, TriNet, Successfactors and Monster.com among our customers. Eloqua has recently moved aggressively into financial services markets like corp. banking, investments and insurance. Other niche markets for Eloqua include sports and entertainment. Leading franchises like the 76ers, Portland Trailblazers and Boston Bruins use our solutions to cross and up-sell season ticket holder packages based on web-based browsing activity. Finally, we are starting to see great interest from consumer businesses as well that are looking to automate key stages in the customer lifecycle. It is not just about demand generation and lead management.
