Weather Lesson

  1. 1. RECIPE: WEATHER What creates weather anyway?!
  2. 2. INGREDIENTS: <ul><li>We have 4 elements in nature that would be our ingredients in the overall recipe of weather… </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Sun </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Earth </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Air </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Water </li></ul></ul>

  4. 5. EARTH <ul><li>The earth’s actions help make our weather by creating seasons… </li></ul><ul><li>Spinning on its axis and revolving around the sun is the reason for the seasons! </li></ul>
  5. 7. WATER <ul><li>Water is always in the air! </li></ul><ul><li>Gas , Liquid , & Solid forms in the atmosphere all affect our weather. </li></ul>
  6. 9. SUN <ul><li>The sun is responsible for almost all of our weather! </li></ul><ul><li>Energy from the sun (heat) combines with our other ingredients to make every type of weather that happens... </li></ul>
  7. 11. AIR <ul><li>Weather wouldn’t even exist without the air in our atmosphere . </li></ul><ul><li>Air has weight & pressure and temperature – all big parts of this ingredient! </li></ul>
