Should you provide any criticism of your downline at all?
In a network marketing business, it’s crucial to your success that you build a downline; i.e., sign up people under you on your team. But should you also be giving them constructive criticism on how they’re running their business?
Personally, no. I wouldn’t provide any criticism at all unless your team member specifically asks it. Your team members in your downline are small business owners themselves; you’re not their Boss, and you wouldn’t tell another business owner how to run his business.
What you should be doing is simply reassuring them that you’re there to help if they need it because even constructive criticism can come across the wrong way to some people. And the last thing you want is for your team members to start dropping out of the program because they might think they’re doing everything wrong.
