Beyond Facebook Profiles, YouTube Channels, and Twitter Accounts: Lessons from the Best Social Media Campaigns Many successful social media campaigns involve strategies that go beyond traditional definitions of advertising and public relations to create innovative consumer experiences. Interactivity, community-building, and location are some of the elements of successful campaigns. In this talk, University of South Florida public relations professor and author of Celeb 2.0, Kelli S. Burns, Ph.D., will explore excellent social media campaigns using a variety of platforms as we challenge conventional ways of thinking about advertising, public relations, and even social media.
