through many channels:

In short the main purpose of commerce is to remove

business relationships.

practices of teaching business subjects”.

• FRANK HOOPER& JAMES GRAHAM 1901 :
• « a practical education suited to the needs of present day, and calculated to fit young people
intended for business careers for work they will have to perform and to better equip for their work
those already in business.

« Any Education which a businessman has and which makes him a better businessman, is for him a

« Real Commerce Edn is Economic Edn not of
academic sort long on theory short on facts but
Economic Edn which will give the student the
knowledge of basic reality of business life &
relationships. The basic science of business is
commerce and without a thorough guidance and
awareness of the economic problems much of the
material included in secondary school course is purely
additive & superficial
