  3. 3. Aim: <ul><li>To provide flexible and practical options for on-campus and distance students to apply knowledge of group theory and dynamics. </li></ul>
  4. 4. Plan: <ul><li>To develop a package of custom designed group sessions recorded onto hard drive and CD- ROM to illustrate the key learning around group facilitation and dynamics. </li></ul>

Key Features <ul><li>‘ What to do’ and ‘what not to do’ as a group facilitator </li></ul><ul><li>Recorded with students at the Dunedin campus </li></ul><ul><li>Basis for face to face discussion </li></ul><ul><li>Online or sent to distance students on a CD-ROM </li></ul><ul><li>Online discussion board or collaborative wiki documents </li></ul><ul><li>Set questions, guidelines or online quizzes </li></ul>

  7. 7. Time Line for implementation: <ul><li>July 2008 – Planning for group design begins </li></ul><ul><li>October 2008 – Consultation with other key staff members re. Scenario development </li></ul><ul><li>July/August/September 2009 – Recording occurs with Otago based students </li></ul><ul><li>January 2010 - Learning packages designed to compliment videos </li></ul><ul><li>February – June 2010– Consultation with key staff members – Feedback sought </li></ul><ul><li>July 2010 – Package completed and delivery begins at Wintec </li></ul>
