(To whom are you writing? Why? What is
the source and where/when is it from (if
given)?)
● Planning – there was no time/room for a
draft
● Not formal enough (never use short forms,
informal language!)
● What´s the task (To describe? Speculate?
Make recommendations?)?

3. Read the task!

4. Even more issues (2017-specific!):
● The differences (plan/reality) were not
described.
● Reasons for the differences were not
speculated on (NB! Use MODALS to
speculate!)
● Illogical or unclear reasons given.
● Linking words used wrongly.
● There was irrelevant information.

5. The task
● Re-read the third slide (with the task from
2017).
● Write the report (into notebook or on a
paper).
