North American VC-backed companies continued to see larger median early-stage deals, holding steady
from Q4’15 at $3M. After Asia and Europe briefly converged in Q4’15, Asian deal sizes broke away,
landing at $2.5M for Q1’16 compared to Europe’s $2.2M.
