  2. 2.  Campaign  1  :  Protsahan     CONTENT•  Campaign  Title  :  PainBng  AucBon  to  Support  girl-­‐child  in  India.  •  Project  :  Social  Enterprise  Protsahan  aims  to  send  girls  back  to  school  through  it’s  “Project  Educare”.  In  India   34%  of  girls  drop  out  of  primary  school,  20%  have  their  first  child  before  18  years.  Its  an  opportunity  cost  of   USD  50  to  send  a  child  to  school;  girls  oZen  work  in  house-­‐holds  or  at  Bmes  brothels!  Money  raised  through   this  project  will  help  educate  a  girl  for  1  year  and  will  empower  her  generaBons.  •  What   will   you   get   :   Two   aucBon   winners   will   get   beauBful   two   Madhubani   painBngs   made   by   the   children   of   Protsahan.  •  Pictures:  A^ached  in  next  slide.    •  Target  Money  :  USD  1000+    (  not  limited  but  expected)    •  Social  Enterprise:  Protsahan  educates  slum-­‐dwelling  children  and  women    in  Delhi  through  art  and  creaBvity  •  Url:  www.protsahanindiafoundaBon.org  •  Video:  Click  here

Campaign  2  :  Protsahan     CONTENT•  Campaign  Title  :  PainBng  AucBon  to  empower  the  urban-­‐slum  woman  •  Project  :  Protsahan  aims  to  empower  Dalit  women  in  India  through  their  “Project  Stree”.  It’s  a  sad  situaBon   for   Dalit   women   in   India,   most   of   them   work   in   house-­‐holds   earning   a   meager   USD   50   per   month.   They   oZen   depend  on  their  children  for  an  income  and  are  forced  into  sexual  exploitaBon.  OZen  are  harassed  by  their   own  men.  Protsahan  wishes  to  put  an  end  to  this  by  encouraging  women  to  take  up  alternaBve  livelihoods   and  convert  themselves  into  entrepreneurs.  •  What   will   you   get   :   Two   aucBon   winners   will   get   a   beauBful   ancient   Indian   artwork   painBngs   and   a   ethnic   neckpiece  made  by  slum  women.  •  Pictures:  A^ached  to  the  side  •  Target  Money  :  USD  1000+    (  not  limited  but  expected)    •  Social  Enterprise:  Protsahan  educates  slum-­‐dwelling  children  and  women    in  Delhi  through  art  and  creaBvity  •  Url:  www.protsahanindiafoundaBon.org  •  Video:  Click  here
