  2. 2. FOODpedia - ... is an effort to extract information about food products from various sources and to make this information accessible on the Web in a structured way leveraging Linked Data principles and technologies.

  4. 4. Current version Accessible on http://foodpedia.tk SPARQL endpoint: http://foodpedia. tk/sparql Statistics: ❏ number of food products: ~ 9 300 ❏ number of triples: ~ 81 000 And more than 60 000 food products will be added soon.

Plans ❏ a (semi-)automated extraction of new triples from known sources and update of existing triples; ❏ a (semi-)automated extraction and normalisation of names of the ingredients; ❏ continue developing the food product ontology; ❏ mapping of food products to a food category system, such as the Codex GSFA’s food category. ❏ interlinking with other datasets, such as DBpedia, Open Food Facts; ❏ a tool for open collaborative editing of the dataset; ❏ support of multilingual at knowledge base and interface level.
