Baked Spaghetti For this dish, you must have * Ground beef – ½ a pound * Uncooked spaghetti – ½ a pound * Onion, chopped – 1 * Garlic, minced – 1 clove * Tomato soup – 2 cans * Shortening – 4 Tablespoons * Chili powder – 2 Teaspoons * Water – 2 cups * Grated sharp cheese – 1 cup * Dutch oven To prepare this dish, first cook the onions and garlic in the shortening. Add the beef and cook for a few minutes. Drain away the excess ‘juices’. Now add the tomato soup, water and chili powder and cook for a few minutes. Break the spaghetti into inch-size pieces and add to the sauce. Make sure they are totally covered by the sauce. Cover the Dutch oven and let it bake for 1 hour.
