  2. 2. Definition• Creativity is difficult to define. Boden definedcreativity as producing something that is novelor different (Boden, 1994). Court offeredanother definition stating that the ability ofhuman intelligence helps individuals to usetheir imagination and produce original ideasand solutions (Court, 1998).
  3. 3. Creativity• “Creativity is a great motivator because itmakes people interested in what they aredoing. Creativity gives hope that there can bea worthwhile idea. Creativity gives thepossibility of some sort of achievement toeveryone. Creativity makes life more fun andmore interesting.”Edward de Bono
  4. 4. Creativity in Today’s Society• Today’s society has gone beyond being able todo just the well-defined problem and hasmoved into the world of the ill-definedproblem. The future now belongs to creators,pattern recognizers, artistic, empathicreasoning, and big picture thinkers.
