  3. 3. Case Study : Wibhu Technologies, Pune <ul><li>Wibhu is a technology start-up in wireless and network security space. The company was started in the year 2002, by experts with a vast experience in the Bay Area. </li></ul>
  4. 4. <ul><li>Wibhu had just obtained a VC Funding from the US and planned to expand its scope in a big way. This meant being known in the Indian IT scenario as leader in the area of Network security and attracting the best Indian talent to join Wibhu. </li></ul><ul><li>After VC funding, the objective now was to create a global foot print for Wibhu offering. </li></ul>THE BRIEF
  5. 5. This needed to be achieved by releasing recruitment advertisements in mainline dailies in focus areas, with a dual purpose of recruiting the right people as also creating a brand image for Wibhu. THE BRIEF

ROLE OF RAPPORT <ul><li>Rapport Communications was roped in to handle the entire recruitment process as a brand-building project through: </li></ul><ul><li>Conceptualise, Design and Release of Ad in prominent appointment dailies </li></ul><ul><li>Response Scrutiny </li></ul><ul><li>Logistics Support for conducting interviews at Bangalore & Pune </li></ul>

RESPONSE SCRUTINY <ul><li>The press ad, which was an invitation for walks-in as well scheduled interviews, generated over 1000 relevant resumes – which were classified into ratings based on criteria like experience, place of employment, projects handled and educational qualifications. </li></ul>
  10. 10. THE INTERVIEW PROCESS at Bangalore <ul><li>Objectives </li></ul><ul><li>Establish Wibhu as a technology leader  </li></ul><ul><li>Make the experience a memorable one for those selected as well as those candidates who were not suitable. </li></ul>

THE INTERVIEW PROCESS at Bangalore <ul><li>The first round of interviews were conducted at Bangalore at a well known 3 star hotel </li></ul><ul><li>Candidates were sent interview intimations 4 days in advance </li></ul><ul><li>Scheduled interviews and walks-in were conducted separately at the same venue simultaneously. </li></ul>

THE INTERVIEW PROCESS at Bangalore <ul><li>The candidates were received by trainee management students and seated according to their areas of expertise </li></ul><ul><li>A presentation on Wibhu Technologies was being played continuously on a monitor. </li></ul><ul><li>The candidates were given a docket about Wibhu– the background, philosophy, culture, operating platforms, etc </li></ul>

THE INTERVIEW PROCESS at Bangalore <ul><li>Separate interview panels were made for every position comprising of experts from that area. </li></ul><ul><li>After the preliminary rounds, candidates were short listed and immediately called for a second round of interviews. </li></ul><ul><li>At the end of the exercise at Bangalore offer letters were given to eight candidates. </li></ul>
