How To Use Quicklink[1]

 1. 1. BGSU QuickLinks

The QuickLinks tab is not one you will use often but there is still some information in here worth mentioning.
 2. 2. Like the rest of these tabs you should look around in this tab just to see if there is something in here that you may think is useful.

QuickLinks areas of interest

Areas Of Interest and Misc. Services are two of the topics covered under the QuickLinks tab.
 3. 3. These are not links you will use often but it is important to know they exist and where to find them.

Tutorials and BGSU Searches

Search Schedule of Classes or Search Course Descriptions are tabs you will use every quarter to figure out what classes to take, so it is especially important to be able to find them.
 4. 4. The Campus Map has a neat feature. You can mouse over buildings and it will tell you what they are. It also has a printer friendly map.

Search schedule of classes.

When doing a class search it shows that you have an institution option. BGSU is actually the only school listed.
 5. 5. For term you will select the quarter in which you intend to enroll.
 6. 6. If you know the exact class you want you can use the Search for Classes tab, or you can just use the Browse Catalog tab and see all of the available courses that term.

Browse Catalog

Once you have selected Browse catalog just click on the letter of the class you wish to enroll in. For example, if you are interested in a Technology class click on the T.
 7. 7. You can decide if you want to look only at the Main Campus, Firelands Campus or both.

Choices if you selected the T

I selected the T because I know that I want to schedule a Technology class.
 8. 8. Now I have the option of selecting between these three different categories that all start with the letter T.

Tech Courses

Now you can see a list of all of the available Tech courses for that quarter.
 9. 9. You can continue on and see what the class is about or you can just email Linda Schultz the course number you wish to take.
 10. 10. To see the course description just click on either the Course Number or Description.

Course Description

The course description shows what the class is about.
 11. 11. It also shows that it is approved as a distance education class.
 12. 12. Units is how many credit hours the class is worth.
