  5. 5. iTunes <ul><li>iTunes is a program that allows you to download free podcasts and store them in a library for you and your students to access as needed. </li></ul><ul><li>In your web browser, type </li></ul>
  6. 6. Click Download
  7. 7. Type your email address and click download now
  8. 8. Creating an Account <ul><li>Please refer to task checklist for creating an iTunes account, and I will guide you through the steps. </li></ul>
  9. 9. Downloading a Podcast <ul><li>We will now learn how to download a podcast from iTunes. </li></ul><ul><li>You will need to open your newly downloaded iTunes program. </li></ul>
  10. 10. Go to Start, All Programs, iTunes, iTunes
  11. 11. Click “iTunes Store”
  12. 12. Click the arrow beside the word “Podcasts”
  13. 13. Click “Education”
  14. 14. Scroll Down and click “K-12”
  15. 15. Browse titles and click on one you are interested in to preview.
  16. 16. Click the “Play” button to preview. Click the word “FREE” to Download
  17. 17. Your podcast will download to your iTunes library.

Podcasting <ul><li>Congratulations! </li></ul><ul><li>You have successfully downloaded a podcast into your iTunes library. </li></ul><ul><li>To put the podcast onto your iPod, simply plug your iPod into the USB port of your computer and click “sync” on the left side of your iTunes screen. </li></ul>
