Recruitment is the generating of applications or applicants for specific persons to be filled up in organisation. </li></ul><ul><li>It is the process of searching for and obtaining applicants for jobs that right people in the right no. can be selected. </li></ul>

Features of recruitment:- <ul><li>Recruitment is a positive function </li></ul><ul><li>It is a linking activity to bring together those with the jobs and those seeking the jobs. </li></ul><ul><li>It is a process or series of activities rather than the event </li></ul><ul><li>It is a pervasive function as all organisations engage in recruiting activity. </li></ul>
