What is MUN?<br />MUN is an academic simulation of the United Nations that aims to educate participants about current events, topics in international relations, diplomacy and the United Nations agenda through<br />DEBATEabout current global issues<br />NEGOTIATIONin the style of the UN<br />WRITING of resolutions in the internationally recognized legal format<br />

In a nutshell…<br />The King's College London Model United Nations Society debates global issues by simulating the diplomacy of the many forums of United Nations.<br />The society attends conferences in international affairs all over the world.<br />Who can join?<br />Everyone! Regardless of your knowledge of the world or your experience at MUN.<br />Meetings include debates but also training sessions where you will learn all you need to know before battling out global issues with your fellow delegates<br />

  13. 13. Our activities<br />Our core activity is organizing our celebrated weekly MUN debating simulations. Join us every Tuesday during term for your chance to become a country's ambassador to the UN and to try to solve some of the biggest challenges in international relations;<br />KCLMUN organizes delegations to MUN conferences as nearby as London and as far away as the United States;<br />Every term we host discussions with both academics and practitioners in the field of international relations;<br />We also organize social events including pub nights, film screenings, visits to multilateral institutions, etc.<br />
