I am an art educator and artist teaching in public education. I have experience teaching as a visual artist/instructor from 1978 - 1992. I have taught toddlers through senior citizens in a variety of settings. I am currently teaching at St Stephens Episcopal School-Houston. I teach kindergarten through high school classes including IMYC and IB Art. I was a member of De Zavala Elementary's Shared Decision Making Committee (SDMC) 2000 - 2002 and 2009 - 2013. I served as one of three Texas Art Education Association Area VI Area Representatives from 2007 to the 2013. I currently serve on the TAEA Council at Large as the Elementary Division Chair Elect.
