  4. 4. 3/29/20098- Disclaimer.Important Note:It is very important to remember that Allah Almightys choice of the Holy Words belowwas for a Divine Purpose and not just by chance. There were many other choices ofwords that Allah Almighty couldve chosen, but He Chose the ones below because theycarried far deeper meanings in them that only Science today was able to unveil andconfirm. These Holy Words were used by Allah Almighty to describe how He, theAlmighty, Created the Universe and many of the creations in it. The Holy Words are inperfect harmony with Science and with the way the Universe was truly created by AllahAlmighty. The Noble Quran is filled with scientific statements and notions. These are statements ofAllah Almighty describing how He created things on earth and in the Universe. Whatsmost amazing is that all of these scientific statements and notions had been proven to bein perfect agreement with science and our modern-day scientific discoveries. AllahAlmighty made the Noble Quran be Prophet Muhammads (peace be upon him)Everlasting Divine Miracle and proof for Prophethood. The Holy Book certainly stoodthe test of time 1,500 years ago with Its Claims, Prophecies and Miraculous languageeloquence, and it does again and again in our day today with Its overwhelming agreementwith science and discoveries that were not known to man 1,500 years ago.Allah Almighty Said: "We will soon show them Our signs in the Universe and insidetheir selves, until it will become quite clear to them that it is the truth. Is it not sufficientas regards your Lord that He is a witness over all things? (The Noble Quran, 41:53)"Note: When the Arabic words meaning is listed only in English without Arabic andtransliteration, then the word was taken from the Arabic-English dictionaries of Al-Mawrid [4] and Cowan [5].www.answering-christianity.com 3

  10. 10. 3/29/2009"PROBING THE COSMIC WEB OF THE UNIVERSE: NEW LIGHT ON DARKENERGYScienceDaily (Jan. 30, 2008) — Astronomers have used ESOs Very Large Telescope tomeasure the distribution and motions of thousands of galaxies in the distant Universe. This opens fascinating perspectives to better understand what drives the acceleration ofthe cosmic expansion and sheds new light on the mysterious dark energy that is thoughtto permeate the Universe........The technique is based on a well-known phenomenon, namely the fact that the apparentmotion of distant galaxies results from two effects: the global expansion of the Universethat pushes the galaxies away from each other and the gravitational attraction of matterpresent in the galaxies neighbourhood that pulls them together, creating the cosmic webwww.answering-christianity.com 9

  16. 16. 3/29/2009As Allah Almighty was creating the earth and the Universe, the Heaven was still a hotsmoke. The science of modern cosmology, observational and theoretical, clearlyindicates that, at one point in time, the whole universe was nothing but a cloud of‘smoke’. This is one of the undisputed principles of standard modern cosmology.Scientists now can observe new stars forming out of the remnants of that ‘smoke’: Figure 10: A new star forming out of a cloud of gas and dust (nebula), which is one of the remnants of the ‘smoke’ that was the origin of the whole universe. 21. 21. The site: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_EarthThe location: "Future"Future See also: Risks to civilization, humans and planet EarthThe future of the planet is closely tied to that of the Sun. As a result of the steadyaccumulation of helium ash at the Suns core, the stars total luminosity will slowlyincrease. The luminosity of the Sun will increase by 10 percent over the next 1.1 billionyears (1.1 Gyr), and by 40% over the next 3.5 Gyr.[118] Climate models indicate that therise in radiation reaching the Earth is likely to have dire consequences, includingthe possible loss of the planets oceans.[119]The Earths increasing surface temperature will accelerate the inorganic CO2 cycle, reducing its concentration to the lethal levels for plants (10 ppm for C4 photosynthesis) in900 million years. But even if the Sun were eternal and stable, the continued internalcooling of the Earth would have resulted in a loss of much of its atmosphere andoceans (due to lower volcanism).[120] After another billion years the surface water willhave completely disappeared.[121]The Sun, as part of its solar lifespan, will expand to a red giant in about 5 Gyr. Modelspredict that the Sun will expand out to about 99% of the distance to the Earths presentorbit (1 astronomical unit, or AU). However, by that time, the orbit of the Earth may haveexpanded to about 1.7 AUs because of the diminished mass of the Sun. The planet mightthus escape envelopment by the expanded Suns sparse outer atmosphere, though most (ifnot all) existing life will have been destroyed by the Suns proximity to the Earth.[118]What happends when all oceans disappear? The herbage and growth will not get any rain on it because of the rain cycle being stopedwhen no water exists on earth to "Send back" water as Allah allmighty explains in several verses!Article #2:www.esnips.com/user/jam2000
  22. 22. 3/29/2009"Life cycle Main articles: Formation and evolution of the solar system and Stellar evolutionThe Suns current main sequence age, determined using computer models of stellarevolution and nucleocosmochronology, is thought to be about 4.57 billion years.[7]It is thought that about 4.59 billion years ago, the rapid collapse of a hydrogen molecularcloud led to the formation of a third generation T Tauri Population I star, the Sun. Thenascent star assumed a nearly circular orbit about 26,000 light-years from the centre ofthe Milky Way Galaxy.[8]The Sun is about halfway through its main-sequence evolution, during which nuclearfusion reactions in its core fuse hydrogen into helium. Each second, more than 4 milliontonnes of matter are converted into energy within the Suns core, producing neutrinos andsolar radiation; at this rate, the Sun will have so far converted around 100 Earth-massesof matter into energy. The Sun will spend a total of approximately 10 billion years as amain sequence star. The Sun does not have enough mass to explode as a supernova. Instead, in 5–6 billionyears, it will enter a red giant phase, its outer layers expanding as the hydrogen fuel in thecore is consumed and the core contracts and heats up. Helium fusion will begin when thecore temperature reaches around 100 MK, and will produce carbon and oxygen, enteringthe asymptotic giant branch of a planetary nebula phase in about 7.8 billion years, duringwhich instabilities in interior temperature lead the surface of the sun to shed mass. Whileit is likely that the expansion of the outer layers of the Sun will reach the current positionof Earths orbit, recent research suggests that mass lost from the Sun earlier in its redgiant phase will cause the Earths orbit to move further out, preventing it from beingengulfed.[9] However, Earths water will be boiled away and most of its atmospherewill escape into space. The increase in solar temperatures over this period is sufficientthat by about 900 million years into the future, the surface of the Earth will become toohot for the survival of life as we know it.[10] After another billion years the surfacewater will have completely disappeared.[11]www.answering-christianity.com 21
  23. 23. Life-cycle of the Sun; sizes are not drawn to scale.Following the red giant phase, intense thermal pulsations will cause the Sun to throw offits outer layers, forming a planetary nebula. The only object that will remain after theouter layers are ejected is the extremely hot stellar core, which will slowly cool and fadeas a white dwarf over many billions of years. This stellar evolution scenario is typical oflow- to medium-mass stars.[9][12] " (Source)Noble Verse(s) 15:22Yusuf Ali:[015:022] And We send the fecundating (or fertilizing) winds, then causethe rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (inabundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores.Transliteration:[015:022] Waarsalna alrriyaha lawaqiha faanzalna mina alssama-i maanfaasqaynakumoohu wama antum lahu bikhazineenaArabic (from right to left):15:22 ‫وارﺳــــــــــــﻠﻧﺎ اﻟرﻳـــــــــــﺎح ﻟـــــــــواﻗﺢ ﻓﺎﻧزﻟﻧـــــــــــــــﺎ ﻣـــن اﻟﺳـــــــــــﻣﺎء ﻣــــــﺎء‬‫ﻓﺎﺳــــــــــــــــــــﻘﻳﻧﺎآﻣوﻩ وﻣــــــــــــــﺎاﻧﺗم ﻟــــﻪ ﺑﺧــــــــــــﺎزﻧﻳن‬4- From a Muslim web site:"Modern science tells us that the growth of clouds and precipitation require that thewinds fertilize the clouds with a quantity of microscopicparticles called condensation nuclei. 24. 24. 3/29/2009to the clouds so they will produce rain. The process goes on with the coming together ofnumerous particles of water in the atmosphere around these condensation nuclei. The smallest droplet of water is made up of at least 100 molecules. It is noteasy for such a number to come together by mere coincidence withoutthere being nuclei to precipitate upon. These particles are preserved. In this way, people have come to know that the Qur’anicverse points to how the winds fertilize the clouds with water vapor then withcondensation nuclei as a precursor to the existence of rain. Allah says:See you not that Allah drives the clouds gently, then joins them together, then makes theminto a heap of layers and you see the rain comes forth from between them; and they are likemountains in the sky from which He sends down hail, and strikes therewith whom He willsand averts it from whom He wills. The vivid flash of the clouds’ lightning nearly blinds thesight.Meteorologists say that rain requires the development ofprecipitating clouds. Among these rain clouds are cumulonimbusclouds that form in a vertical direction. They can extend upwards oftwenty kilometers. These cumulonimbus clouds have three layers. The lowest level consists of growing drops of water. The middle layercontains water droplets having temperatures below freezing that are still in a liquid form. Asfor the highest layer, it is comprised of pure white ice crystals. Allah has made the waterdroplets that are above freezing unstable, capable of freezing by merely plunging into a solidbody. This is why when ice crystals fall from the highest layer to the middle layer and meetwith water that is above freezing, the crystals adhere to these droplets and freeze with them, swiftly increasing their size."(http://www.islamtoday.com/discover_islam.cfm?cat_id=6&sub_cat_id=42)5- From Wikipedia:"Cloud condensation nuclei or CCNs (also known as cloud seeds) are small particles (typically0.0002 mm, or 1/100 th the size of a cloud droplet [1]) about which cloud droplets coalesce.Water requires a non-gaseous surface to make the transition from a vapour to a liquid. In theatmosphere, this surface presents itself as tiny solid or liquid particles called CCNs. When noCCNs are present, water vapour can be supercooled below 0 °C (32 °F) before dropletsspontaneously form (this is the basis of the cloud chamber for detecting subatomic particles)." In this strange type of motion, the planetforms a looping or S-shaped path against the background of the stars...." (Source)Article #5:"precession of the equinoxes, westward motion of the equinoxes along the ecliptic. Thismotion was first noted by Hipparchus c.120 B.C. The precession is due to thegravitational attraction of the moon and sun on the equatorial bulge of the earth, whichcauses the earths axis to describe a cone in somewhat the same fashion as a spinning top.As a result, the celestial equator (see equatorial coordinate system), which lies in theplane of the earths equator, moves on the celestial sphere, while the ecliptic, which liesin the plane of the earths orbit around the sun, is not affected by this motion. Theequinoxes, which lie at the intersections of the celestial equator and the ecliptic, thusmove on the celestial sphere. Similarly, the celestial poles move in circles on the celestialsphere, so that there is a continual change in the star at or near one of these poles (seePolaris). After a period of about 26,000 years the equinoxes and poles lie once again atnearly the same points on the celestial sphere. Because the gravitational effects of thesun and moon are not always the same, there is some wobble in the motion of the earthsaxis; this wobble, called nutation, causes the celestial poles to move, not inperfect circles, but in a series of S-shaped curves with aperiod of 18.6 years. There is some further precession caused by the gravitationalinfluences of the other planets; this precession affects the earths orbit around the sun andthus causes a shift of the ecliptic on the celestial sphere. The precession of the earthsorbital plane is sometimes called planetary precession, and that of the earths equatorialplane (caused by the sun and moon) is called luni-solar precession; the combined effectof the moon, the sun, and the planets is called general precession. Planetary precession ismuch less than luni-solar precession. The precession of the equinoxes was first explainedby Isaac Newton in 1687." Its authority is inthe daytime, for it is the heavenly body that dominates the day. As for the moon, Allah hasdecreed that it should pass through different phases. At the beginning of the month, themoon appears small when it rises. It gives off little light, then on the second night its lightincreases and it rises to a higher position, and the higher it rises the more light it gives --even though it is reflected from the sun -- until it becomes full on thefourteenth night of the month." It is also the richest in concentratednatural minerals, making the area a world - renowned natural health spa. Theancient world knew of the areas wondrous curative properties and throughout theages people from the four corners of the earth have enjoyed its benefits.3- From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_Sea#In_Islam:In IslamIn Islamic tradition, the Dead Sea was about the land in which the Prophet Lut (Lot in theHebrew scriptures) lived. The people of the towns and cities were wicked for their acts ofwww.answering-christianity.com 45

The punishment arrived when angels in the form of beautiful men were sent down by God as guests for Lut to host. When Luts people heard of the men, they rushed to Luts house to misbehave and rape the men. This was their final test which they failed so the angel Gabriel raised the land where the prophets people lived, tipped it upside down and threw it back on earth, causing the ground near the impact to cave in. Thus, the lowest land on Earth was formed because of this punishment. The non-believers (in the monotheism doctrine) were destroyed and the followers were saved. According to some interpretations, the sura of ar-Rum of the Quran refers to the Dead Sea as the lowest place on Earth.[13][14] Bedouin tribes have continuously lived in this area, and more recently explorers and scientists arrived to analyze the minerals and conduct research into the unique climate. Tourism in the region has been developed since the 1960s. Recent History The Dead Sea Scrolls were found in caves at Qumran at the Dead Sea. The worlds lowest road, Highway 90, runs along the Israeli and West Bank shores of the Dead Sea at 393 m (1,289 ft) below sea level. There are also health spas and hot springs along the shore, besides the unique water of the Dead Sea itself. A golf course named for Sodom and Gomorrah was built by the British at Kalia on the northern shore. The first major hotels were built in Israel, first at nearby Arad, and since the 1960s at the Neve Zohar resort complex. The Jordanian side has seen increasing development in recent years. For example, three international franchises have opened seaside resort hotels near the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Center along the eastern coast of the Dead Sea. [15] 4- From http://www.miraclesofthequran.com/predictions_01.html:INTRODUCTIONAnother miraculous aspect of the Quran is its prediction of future events, all of which have so far been fulfilled. This isone of the proofs that the Quran is the Word of Allah. In the following pages, we will dwell on some of these events.THE VICTORY OF BYZANTIUM www.esnips.com/user/jam2000
  48. 48. 3/29/2009An astonishing prediction is found in the first verses of Surat ar-Rum, which refers to the Byzantine Empire, the easternpart of the later Roman Empire: The Byzantine Empire, which had met with a great defeat, would soon gain victory.Alif, Lam, Mim. The Romans have been defeated in the lowest land, but after their defeat they will be victorious within three to nineyears . The affair is Allahs from beginning to end. On that day, the believers will rejoice. (Quran, 30:1-4)These verses were revealed around 620, almost 7 years after the idolatrous Persians had severely defeated ChristianByzantium in 613-14. In fact, Byzantium had suffered such heavy losses that it seemed impossible for it even tosurvive, let alone be victorious again. Following their defeat of the Byzantines at Antioch in 613, the Persians seizedcontrol of Damascus, Cilicia, Tarsus, Armenia, and Jerusalem. The loss of Jerusalem in 614 was particularly traumaticfor the Byzantines, for the Church of the Holy Sepulchre was destroyed and the Persians seized the "True Cross," thesymbol of Christianity.174 In addition, the Avars, Slavs, and Lombards also were posing serious threats to theByzantine Empire. The Avars had reached as far as the walls of Constantinople. Emperor Heraclius ordered the goldand silver in churches to be melted and turned into money in order to meet the armys expenses. When this provedinsufficient, bronze statues were melted down in order to mint more money. Many governors had revolted againstHeraclius, and Byzantium was on the point of collapse.175 Mesopotamia, Cilicia, Syria, Palestine, Egypt and Armenia, which had earlier belonged to Byzantium, were invaded by the idolatrous Persians.176 The Dead Sea basin where Byzantium was defeated by Persians. Above is a satellite photograph of the region. The Lake of Lut region, which is the lowest region of the world, is 395 meter below the sea level. In short, everyone was expecting Byzantium to be destroyed. But during this time, the first verses of Surat ar-Rum wererevealed, announcing that Byzantium would triumph in 3 to 9 years. This predicted victory seemed so impossible thatthe Arab polytheists thought it would never come true. www.answering-christianity.com 47
  49. 49. Like all the other predictions in the Quran, however, this one also came true. In 622, Heraclius gained a number of victories over the Persians and conquered Armenia.177 In December 627, the two empires fought a decisive battle at Nineveh, some 50 kilometres east of the Tigris river, near Baghdad. This time too, the Byzantine army defeated the Persians. A few months later, the Persians had to sue for peace with Byzantium, which obliged them to return the territories they had taken from it.178 The Byzantine victory was completed when Emperor Heraclius defeated the Persian ruler Khosrow II in 630, recaptured Jerusalem, and regained the "True Cross" for the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.179 In the end, "the victory of the Romans" proclaimed by Allah in the Quran miraculously came true within the verses stated "three to nine years" time frame. Another miracle revealed in these verses is the announcement of a geographical fact that could not have been known by anyone at that time: that the Romans had been On top a satellite photograph of defeated in the lowest region of Earth. This Arabic expression adna al-Ard is the Dead Sea basin. The altitude interpreted as "a nearby place" in many translations. However, this is not the literal of the Dead Sea could only be meaning, but rather a figurative interpretation. The word adna , derived from the determined with modern word dani (low), means “the lowest”. The word ard means “the world.” Therefore, measurement techniques. These adna al-ard means "the lowest place on Earth." measurements led to the discovery that this region is the Some interpreters of the Quran, considering the closeness of the region in question "lowest region on the Earth." to the Arabs, prefer the "closest" meaning of the word. However, the actual meaning indicates a very important geological fact: The Dead Sea, one of the regions inwhich the Byzantines were defeated in 613-14, is the lowest region on Earth.180As stated earlier, for Christian Byzantium, the loss of the True Cross was the heaviest blow in that defeat in Jerusalem, located near the shores of the Dead Sea.The Byzantines and the Persians actually fought at the Dead Sea basin, which is situated at theintersection point of the lands belonging to Syria, Palestine, and Jordan. At 399 meters below sea www.esnips.com/user/jam2000
  50. 50. 3/29/2009level, the Dead Sea is the "lowest" place on Earths surface.181However, as only modern measuring methods and equipment can prove this fact, it would have been impossible foranyone living at that time to realise this truth. Yet, the Quran states clearly that this region was the "lowest land" onEarth and thereby provides further evidence that it is the Word of Allah.174. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heraclius.175. When we informed Professor Palmer about this, he contested saying that there were many other areas, which are lower than the one referred to in the Quranic verse. He gave examples and names of other areas in Europe and in the United States. We assured him that our information was verified and correct. He had with him a topographical globe that showed elevations and depressions. He said that it would be easy with that globe to ascertain which was the lowest spot on earth. He turned the globe with his hands and focused his sign on the area near Jerusalem. To his astonishment, there was a small arrow sticking out towards that area with words: "the lowest part on the face of the earth." Professor Palmer was quick to concede that our information was correct. He proceeded to speak, as you now see him with the globe, saying that this was actually the lowest part of the earth....." www.answering-christianity.com 49
