Artist outfit choices

  1. 1. Artist Outfit Choices For Ancillary Products By Saskia Calliste
  2. 2. The Interview Although the interview we are conducting is not a normal interview e.g. for a job, I still decided to add some formality which is why I decided the artist should wear a blazer as you can put with jeans to make it look casual but still fitting to the occasion of a TV interview. A lot of stars when they are more established show up to TV interviews in the style of clothing they wear in music videos etc. to express themselves. As our artist is still discovering herself in her career, this seemed like the perfect thing to wear while still expressing the humble, down to
  3. 3. The Poster Shoot For this shoot, only the top half of the artist will be exposed. I chose a top like this as it has a fighting attitude which is demonstrated with the spikes on the shoulder blades of the top. This allows the artist to express that in the future the audience she has built can express more from her. The top is unrevealing but stylish which coincides with the personality and branding of the artist.
  4. 4. The Intro Shoot This outfit is very down to earth and comfy. As the introduction has been put in the Digipak to get this message across to the audience it seemed appropriate for her to wear this. Especially because the artist is talking a lot about her home life and past and this kind of outfit is something you could comfortably wear at home around people that you are comforted by. This is the approach we want the fans to feel towards the artist they are following.
  5. 5. The Front Shoot Although the front cover is the most inciting bit of the Digipak for the audience as it shows the artist at her best, a simplistic outfit was chosen to highlight the innocence and style our artist would be using to break into the industry. The colours black and white are very simplistic but classics, which is the kind of attitude we wanted our artist to promote. The shot of the front cover is from the shoulders up, just enough to expose the white jumper which represent innocence but in this case innocence of the industry. The main attraction comes from the make-up, jewellery and positioning of the artist
