  • Complex Claim Group (CCG) Account Representative: In this position, individuals will be assigned to handle asbestos an toxic tort related claims. Responsibilities will include investigating claims, assessing liability and injuries and evaluating the value of the claims. This individual will present claims and the exposures to senior claim professionals and claim managers. They will also work with attorneys to manage claims that are in litigation and negotiate settlements where appropriate. New hires will participate in six-weeks of traditional classroom training as well as on-the-job training under the supervision of a team leader. Claim Opportunities: Workers Compensation Benefit Administrators are responsible for planning, recommending, reserving and executing the investigation, valuation, disposition and settlement of claims. Personal Lines Claims Processors are responsible for providing service to policyholders in response to notice of auto physical damage loss. Service includes prompt contact, investigation of coverage and liability issues, determination of damages, disposition of claim, and issuing appropriate payment. Cluster UW/Trainee Opportunities: Underwriter Development Program - Middle Market and Small Commercial Middle Market (mid-size commercial accounts) and Small Commercial (small commercial accounts), offer comprehensive underwriter development programs for entry-level employees. Each program is a structured, extended duration, training program that includes instructor led classroom training, e-learning courses, on the job training and experiential learning where you are exposed to various units of the Property and Casualty operation of The Hartford. During the first year, employees are located in one of our three sales and service centers which are located in: Charlotte, North Carolina San Antonio, Texas New Hartford, New York After successfully completing their first year, employees may continue to reside in the sales and service centers or relocate to one of the regional or branch offices located across the country as their careers continue to progress.

Customer Care Representatives respond to inbound calls and make outbound calls as appropriate. Service Specialists in Investment Product Services are responsible for providing high quality customer service to clients and brokers regarding Hartford Annuity contracts, processing telephone transactions, and providing information on annuity contracts and services. Underwriter Development Program – Hartford Financial Products: The Hartford Financial Products division of The Hartford specializes in Directors & Officers and Errors & Omissions coverages. This is a comprehensive underwriter development program that includes instructor-led classroom training, e-learning courses, on-the-job training and experiential learning with exposure to various units of Hartford Financial Products.
