DefinitionThe knowledge a team has gained from doing its task in one setting is transferred to the next time that team does the task in a different setting.There are many ways in which knowledge can be transferred. Serial transfer is occurring when the same team repeats a task.transfer is leveraged from one work "team" to a very similar work team in another similar work setting.Knowledge is transferred from individual members of the team, to the team as a whole, i.e., integrated into a commonly–held perception of what worked. The task is to make small changes to operating procedure, which is easy to undertake. To evaluate the whole process from start to finish and address every issue is a huge task and not what this is about. In order to resolve complex problems, it is much better to make little changes rather than a complete overhaul. Making little changes is the answer to complex procedures – not complete overhaul.   6. 6. Brainstorming Brainstorming is a process of group idea gathering that stimulates creative thinking. Group members take turns throwing out any and all thoughts that come to mind on a subject while one person records all the ideas. There are no right or wrong answers at this stage. Ideas that may seem to be ridiculous often are the ones that stimulate the best ideas in the end. No one is allowed to criticize any of the ideas. This encourages a free flow of ideas that often leads to a better final product than any other method of idea gathering.
