  2. 2. Embedded systems Ph:7842522786 9948887244 DESCRIPTION: Sensors are the essential device for precision agricultural applications. In this paper we have detailed about how to utilize the sensors in paddy crop field area and explained about Wireless Sensor Network (WSN), Zigbee network, Protocolstack, zigbee Applications and the results are given, when implemented the zigbee network experimentally in real time environment. This paper proposed idea about monitoring the crop field area without human interaction. The fundamental concept of this paper is to provide a highly enabled monitoring of crop field. Wireless sensor network (WSN) consists of a large number of low cost sensor nodes which are deployed in the sensing area. They can sensor, sample and process the information gathered from the sensing area, and transmit it to the observer. WSN can be applied to many fields such as environment monitoring, intelligent transportation, smart home and soon. WSN can eliminate the cost of installation, maintenance and eliminates connectors. Potential benefits includes fewer catastrophic failures, conservation of natural resources, improved manufacturing productivity, improved emergency response, and enhanced homeland security. A WSN (wireless sensor network) generally consists of base station (or) gateway that can communicate with a number of wireless sensors via a radio link. Power unit produces the power. Data Processing unit have the microcontroller, which is the fully responsible to get sensed data and transmit over another network. The microcontroller performs tasks, processes data and controls the functionality of other components in the sensor node.   3. 3. Embedded systems Ph:7842522786 9948887244 ZIGBEE TECHNOLOGY: Zigbee is new wireless technology guided by IEEE 802.15.4 Personal Area Network standard. It is primarily designed for the wide range controlling applications and to replace the existing non-standard technologies. It currently operates in 868 MHz band at a data rate of 20Kbps in Europe, 914MHz band at 40kbps in USA, and the 2.4GHz ISM bands Worldwide at a maximum data-rate of 250kbps. It is used to verify whether user’s truncation is possible or not. One of the main advantages of this ZIGBEE communication is that it provides a noise free communication, the amount of noise added in this type of communication is very less compared to the other wireless communications. GSM: GSM (Global System for Mobile communications) is the technology that underpins most of the world's mobile phone networks. The GSM platform is a hugely successful wireless technology and an unprecedented story of global achievement and cooperation. GSM has become the world's fastest growing communications technology of all time and the leading global mobile standard, spanning 218 countries. GSM is an open, digital cellular technology used for transmitting mobile voice and data services.
