ADOPTION OF THE SFY 2009 BUDGET AS AMENDED ORDINANCES Second Reading and Public Hearing and Final Vote AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A REDEVELOPMENT PLAN PURUSANT TO N.J.S.A. 40A:12A-7 FOR THE WESTERN EDGE REDEVELOPMENT AREA IN THE CITY OF HOBOKEN (DR-397) “continued from the March 4th meeting pending Planning Board review”. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF THE CITY OF HOBOKEN TO ESTABLISH A FEE FOR RETURNED CHECKS (DR-400) Petitions and Communications Miscellaneous licenses. Reports of City Officers A report of the Municipal Court indicating receipts for the month of February 2009 as $292,396.21. A report from City Clerk James Farina, for bids received Friday, March 6, 2009 for: Supply of Automotive Gasoline/Diesel (09-16). 1
  2. 2. CONSENT AGENDA Consent Agenda defined: All items listed with an asterisk (*) are considered to be routine business by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion on these items unless a council member or citizen so request, in which event the item will be removed from the general order of business and considered in its normal sequence on the agenda. RESOLUTIONS 1.* Resolution ratifying the action of the Administration in the Public Auction of Twelve (12) Abandoned Bicycles; Six (6) Abandoned and Twelve (12) Surplus Vehicles held on 6 March 2009. 2.* Appointing impact Governmental Affairs to provide Special Governmental Affairs Services for the City of Hoboken. 3.* Authorizing the submission of an application to the Hudson County Open Space Trust Fund for Development Funds for Hoboken Cove Park. 4.* Authorizing the refund of tax overpayments ($21,275.86). 5* Authorizing the refund of tax appeals Hudson County Tax Board and State Tax Court ($10,741.09). 6.* Authorizing an 50% exemption of property taxes to Victor Molina of 208-9th Street.
