  • I was 12 back in 1993. I not only watched the documentary a number of times, but had it recorded on VHS for me as I was away on a year 6 camp at the time it aired. Even from that young age, I was drawn to Troy emotionally. For my b'day, dad bought me his biography, I still have the book today. Vince you opened up the world of AIDS...how it can affect anyone, directly and indirectly. I haven't watched 'A kid called Troy' in well over a decade, but remember it vividly....how precious life is, thank you xx

  • This evening I viewed for the first time the documentary 'A kid called Troy'. Wow I am so sad for the pain he went through. Thank you to Vince, Troy, Holly and all of the other people who helped make that documentary. Troy should never be forgotten. RIP little man.
