  5. 5. Why didn’t Native Americans have many diseases?<br /><ul><li>First Americans entered through a “decontamination chamber” (Bering Strait)
  6. 6. They didn’t have social density (many people living in small areas i.e. cities).
  7. 7. Lack of social density meant disease didn’t spread.
  8. 8. They practiced basic hygiene (Europeans didn’t)
