Why Do People Blog

  1. 1. Why Do People Blog?http://www.empowernetwork.com/kevinsousa/why- do- people- blog December 10, 2012Why Do People Blog?I asked myself that same question before I decided to find out what is so special about blogging.Frankly, I wanted to know how and why blogging could help make me money and help others dothe same.I had a lot of preconceived notions about blogs. I thought theywould be a waste of my time. Why? Well, I thought that I was not agood writer and that would inhibit me from experiencing t hebenef it s of blogging. The truth was that I was too lazy to learn. Idid not know how to blog, so I did not really want to know howblogging would benefit me.I did not know that I could eventually outsource blog writing andpromotion, if I was that hell bent on not wanting to learn how.Once you start earning more income, you can afford to do that and free up your time to enjoyyour freedom as a result of your higher income. When I first learned about blogging, I took one look at the log in members area and was instantlyconfused. I thought a person had to be a technical genius in order to figure out how to navigate ablog dashboard. I saw Posts, Comments, Appearance, Themes, Plugins, Settings and all the rest ofwhat I perceived as “mumbo jumbo” and decided…nope…not for me! I “didn’t feel like” taking thetime to learn something that I mistakenly thought was a waste of my time. Why Do People Blog?I started talking to others who blogged. I asked them, “What are t he benef it s of blogging?” Theytold me things like blogs can get indexed in Search Engines because of the content as well ascomments from traffic that read the blog posts. They also said that each blog post is it’s own website, each with its own website address (url) thatcan be promoted in the Social Media and you can send Broadcast email to Leads you are buildingthat have opted into your Capture Pages for the business you’re promoting.
  2. 2. The value of that is that once you have traffic, a percentage of them opt in to get moreinformation about the income streams you’re offering. Those Leads receive emails from yourAutoresponder and a percentage of those Leads convert into Sales, which pays you Commissions. So the flow goes… Write a blog post every day, promote that post in Social Media and to your list. Some opt in and become leads and some convert into sales and profits for you.Why Do People Blog? So…once I learned how to navigate a blog members area, I started asking other questions like:“What’s the dif f erence bet ween a blog and a websit e?” … and … “When it comes to a blog vswebsit e, which one is better?”Search Engines love blogs because, unlike websites, they are interactive. Blog Comments have alot to do with that, along with backlinks that blogs give each other from comments that havepermission to post links back to their own blogs and websites. Researched, low-competitionkeyword phrases, used in writing blog posts, also contribute to Search Engine Optimization (SEO).What do people blog about? Anything they want! You can categorize your blog posts, no matterwhat you write about. Simply promote those posts in Social Groups with the same interest of thesubjects of your blog post s!Why Do People Blog??The successful Internet Marketers of the world blog every single day of their lives, without fail. They promote each and every blog post, generate traffic, get leads and convert those leads intosales and profit. It’s that simple.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~If you liked this content, please ‘comment and share.’Skype: www.kevinsousa.wsClick Here t o Work Wit h Me Personally.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
