1. 1. Carolina Torres
How to use CRM
2. 2. DEFINITION
CRM is a widely-implemented strategy for managing a company’s interactions with customers, clients and sales prospects. It involves using technology to organize, automate, and synchronize business processes—principally sales , activities, but also those for marketing, customer service and technical support. The overall goals are to find, attract, and win new clients, nurture and retain those the company already has, entice former clients back into the fold, and reduce the costs of marketing and client service.
Customer relationship management describes a company-wide business strategy including customer-interface departments as well as other departments.
3. 3. WHY CRM IS IMPORTANT FOR YOUR CREDIBILITY?
First of all, what is credibility?
The perception of being believable and trustworthy.
After all what you’ve done, you will need to rebrand yourself, my dear Calum. That will help you to attract again the best “customers”.
If people don’t believe you they won’t trust you. And If they don’ t trust you they wont be loyal to your brand either.
CRM builds enduring customer relationships and spreads credibility.
It will allow you to better track your customers, preferences, history, sales value and other value that will allow you to cater to them by ensuring that every communication between your business and them is done at the optimum level.
4. 4. A CRM software is conceived to help effectively maintain all these; it provides you with a range of benefits that will help you to improve and maintain your credibility:
QuickResponse Time: Once your business is aware of the demands of your customers, you want to take action as quick as possible. It helps you comprehend as well the needs of your customers in the shortest time possible. With CRM, your company will be able to address them immediately.
Better customer service: should include access to centralized customer data as well as email templates that allow CRM users to quickly key in on important customer details and communicate effectively with those customers when they need assistance with their services or products. This customer information has been captured from either POS systems or through sales and purchase data.
5. 5. 3. New Customers: Aside from building long-term customer relationships, CRM will help you make new ones. CRM can then provide you with valuable information about what your new clients prefer.
6. 6. CRM AND SOCIAL MEDIA
Dear Calum, your FB profile sucks. Your official website sucks too.
So you better listen to this!
Social media have changed the way people connect and communicate. As these technologies are being adopted by people of all ages, all over the world, a whole new audience is able to be reached by anyone with Internet access.
Facebook, Twitter, etc help provide deep insight into their lives, likes and dislikes, wants and needs, and also help to connect with potential customers.
7. 7. “Levi’sGirl”
People are asked to submit a short video detailing why they should be chosen for the role, which involves engaging with Levi’s fan base on Facebook and Twitter .The cost of setting up a campaign where potential “Levi’s Girls” submit their short videos on Facebook and then reviewed by Levi’s is relatively low. And Levi’s is able to open up submissions to two countries ,UK and USA. Levi’s can get their next Levi’s Girl model that is for sure to have a large amount of “Like-ings” for a relatively low price. Getting the public to vote for someone they like is better than having a company hire someone that they think the public would like, and this will generate a large volume of socialmedia buzz for the company as thousands of Facebook users will constantly visit the Levi’s Facebook Page to vote for the hottest girl.
8. 8. Starbucks
To get a better handle on consumer feedback, Starbucks did just that with My Starbucks Idea.
The site allows users to submit suggestions to be voted on by Starbucks consumers, and the most popular suggestions are highlighted and reviewed. Starbucks then took it a step further and added an “Ideas in Action” blog that gives updates to users on the status of changes suggested.
With this web Starbucks strengthens their campaign to add a personal touch to coffee.
