We are delighted to share this exhibition with you. This exhibition
highlights the remarkable work of Ohio’s high school art students and their
art teachers. Ohio’s art educators provide essential sequential, standards-
based arts education taught by certified/licensed arts educators.
We must provide what is best for the well-being of the whole child,
including physical and mental health, so that equal access to equitable
learning opportunities can continue regardless of location, ethnicity, or
socioeconomic status.
The arts address key components of social-emotional learning, allowing
students to process complex emotions in these uncertain times.
The arts are a relevant, key component of every child’s education and are
as important as ever in our new, evolving reality.

The Ohio House of Representatives Student Art Exhibit will be installed in the
Statehouse/Vern Riffe Center tunnel through the spring of 2022. The best way to
visit is to enter through the Statehouse parking garage. You may visit during normal
business hours: Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
