  21. 21. You can have too much text, even if you’re using large fonts
  22. 22. We’re about having fun, about being real, and, most importantly, educating as many people as possible on the ever expanding, fast-paced industry that is Digital Marketing.“If we had to sum our mission up in one sentence we say ‘Helping Digital Marketers meet, learn and do their job a little better‘” The main way help digital marketers meet, learn and do their job a little better is by organising a series of digital marketing events. These aren't like your usual digital trade-shows where you're herded round a bunch of exhibition stands while business cards are shoved in your hand by over-zealous sales people. And they're not like most digital conferences where you need to re-mortgage your house to sit in a generic hotel or football club function room and get generic advice This below is 50pt
  23. 23. We’re about having fun, about being real, and, most importantly, educating as many people as possible on the ever expanding, fast-paced industry that is Digital Marketing. This much better

  29. 29. http://thepresentationdesigner.co.uk/5-classic-presentation-fonts/ We’re looking for emotive or evocative images with space for high contrast with our text
  30. 30. http://thepresentationdesigner.co.uk/5-classic-presentation-fonts/Sometime our images will have that space. Sometimes we can create it.

  44. 44. In most cases less text is more: Which is better?
  45. 45. Today, 68% of U.S. adults have a smartphone, up from 35% in 2011, and tablet computer ownership has edged up to 45% among adults, according to newly released survey data from the Pew Research Center What percentage of people have tablets? http://www.pewinternet.org/2015/10/29/technology-device-ownership-2015/

  49. 49. Animated slides are almost never a good idea

  59. 59. Other top tips
  60. 60. Upload the deck to Slideshare before you go onstage. Mention the link to the slides early on and at the end of your talk.
  61. 61. Slides shared on the day will get far more reach than those shared even the following day.

Those released on the Monday after the event will see even less traffic.
  62. 62. Better yet have a blogpost with the slides embedded, accompanying text and maybe even a download to go with it.
  63. 63. Adding your Twitter username and the event hashtag to as many slides as possible.

This will increase your reach and live coverage. It doesn’t need to be in your face, like the next slide.
