the Nazi party in Germany. He promoted socialist,
racist and fascist ideals.
• Nazi: A member of the National Socialist German
Workers Party, or NSDAP.
• The name Nazi comes from the German
pronunciation of the word “national”, which
sounds like “nazional”.
