  5. 5. RECRUITMENT PROCESS – Registration and Interview <ul><li>All candidates who contact Keillar Resourcing and are subsequently registered with us receive an acknowledgement. Candidates are questioned regarding their background, their reasons for leaving and other, more imaginative questions. THE KEILLAR TEAM <ul><li>Harris Keillar </li></ul><ul><li>Managing Director </li></ul><ul><li>Harris has thirty years' recruitment experience, with the majority being within financial </li></ul><ul><li>services. MBA qualified, he was a director with one of the large nationals prior to opening Keillar </li></ul><ul><li>Resourcing in 1996. Much of his time is spent advising clients and candidates on their career options </li></ul><ul><li>and assisting client companies with their expansion plans. Successful placements have included </li></ul><ul><li>Head of Sales for Asia, Senior Underwriter in Sydney, Head of Sales for asset management </li></ul><ul><li>houses and a multi-lingual Head of Marketing for an offshore office. Harris is Fellow of both the </li></ul><ul><li>Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and the Institute of Recruitment Professionals. Paul is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), holds the Investment Management Certificate </li></ul><ul><li>(IMC) and is now studying towards his Diploma in Recruitment Practice. Having joined Keillar in </li></ul><ul><li>2011, Paul is a key account manager looking after UK life and investment companies and he also recruits advisers into IFA and wealth management roles. </li></ul>

As an ‘Executive Recruiter’, his focus is on ‘buy side’ recruitment, covering investment and </li></ul><ul><li>wealth management assignments across the UK and overseas. Assignments have included </li></ul><ul><li>investment management, investment research, discretionary and intermediary sales, marketing, </li></ul><ul><li>product development and risk management. Clients have encompassed global providers, boutiques </li></ul><ul><li>and regional firms, offering both traditional and alternative products. </li></ul><ul><li>David is a Chartered Member of the Securities Institute, having passed the Securities Institute </li></ul><ul><li>Diploma, the IMC and the Financial Planning Certificate. </li></ul><ul><li>Gary Strachan </li></ul><ul><li>Consultant </li></ul><ul><li>Gary moved into recruitment shortly after graduating from Aberdeen University and joined Keillar </li></ul><ul><li>Resourcing at the beginning of 2007. Working as a recruitment consultant, he trained under the more </li></ul><ul><li>experienced consultants, taking a brief foray into hiring on the bancassurance front with an affiliated </li></ul><ul><li>outsourcer. </li></ul>
