What is Truth according to scripture Tehillim 119:142 צדקתך צדק לעולם ותורתך אמת׃ Tzidkatkha tzedek leolam vetorat khaemet: Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, And Your Torat is truth. We live in a world where the truth is seldom heard, where those who govern over us are lairs, they have become corrupt Rhomaios 2:8But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteouness, indignation and wrath, Conscience is a witness, and first or last will bear witness. The Jews thought themselves a Sacred people, entitled to their privileges by right, while they were unthankful, rebellious, and unrighteous. But all who act thus, of every nation, age, and description, must be reminded that the judgment of YHWH will be according totheir real character. The case is so plain, that we may appeal to the sinners own thoughts. In every wilful sin, there is contempt of the goodness of YHWH. And though the branches
of mans disobedience are very various, all spring from the same root. But in true repentance, there must be hatred of former sinfulness, from a change wrought in the state of the mind, which disposes it to choose the good and to refuse the evil. It shows also a sense of inward wretchedness. Such is the great change wrought in repentance, it is conversion, and is needed by every human being. The ruin of sinners is their walking after a hard and impenitent heart. Their sinful doings are expressed by the strong words, “treasuring up wrath.” In the description of the just man, notice the full demand of the law. It demands that the motives shall be pure, and rejects all actions from earthly ambition or ends. In the description of the unrighteous, contention is held forth as the principle of all evil. The human will is in a state of enmity against YHWH. Even Gentiles,who had not the written law, had that within, which directed them what to do by the lightof nature. Conscience is a witness, and first or last will bear witness. As they kept or broke these natural laws and dictates, their consciences either acquitted or condemned them. Nothing speaks more terror to sinners, and more comfort to saints, than that Yahusha shall be the Judge. Secret services shall be rewarded, secret sins shall be then punished, and brought to light. YirmeYahu 7:28 But thou shalt say unto them, This [is] a nation that obeyeth not the voice of YHWH ( )יהוהEloheihem, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth. YHWH shows that obedience is required of you. That which YHWH commanded is, to hearken diligently to the voice of the Eloahi thy YHWH. Let YHWHs will be your rule, and his favour shall be your happiness. YHWH was displeased with disobedience. We understand the gospel as little as the Jews understood the law, if we think that even the sacrifice of Yahusha HaMeshiakh lessens our obligation to obey. We are born into darkness, sin rules, the majority of the world loves the darkness, Yochanan 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the Olam Hazeh, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. Nothing can justify living in sin, Yochanan 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. Yochanan 3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in Elohim ( .)אלהים
Those who abideth not in the teaching of Ha Moshiach,knows not the truth of love of YHWH WE NEED TO WAKE UP Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. I TELL YOU THE TRUTH Ketuvim Netzarim Yochanan-Bet 1:6 And this is love, that we halak (walk) after His Mitzvot ( commandments). This is themitzvah ( Command), That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should halak ( Walk) in it.The deceiver and his deceit are described: he brings some error concerning the person or office of the Yahusha. Let us not think it strange, that there are deceivers and opposers of the Yahusha ha Meshiakhs name and dignity now, for there were such, even in the apostles times. The more deceivers and deceits abound, the more watchful the disciples must be. Sad it is, that splendid attainments in the school of Being a Nätzräya, should ever be lost. The way to gain thefull reward is, to abide true toMeshiakh, and constant in religion to the end. Firm cleaving to Meshiakh is truth unites us to Meshiakh, and thereby to the Father also; for they are one. Let us equally disregard such as abide not in the Torah/ teachings) of yahusha HaMeshiakh, and those who transgress his commands. Any who did not profess and preach the doctrine of Meshiakh, respecting him as the Yahusha ben YHWH ( Yahuah), and salvation by him from guilt and sin, were not to be noticed and countenanced. Yet inobeying this command, we must show kindness and a good spirit to those who differ from us in lesser matters, but hold firmly the all-important doctrines ofMeshiakhss person, atonement, and sacred salvation. Yochanan-Bet 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into ha olam hazeh, who confess not that Yahusha ( )ישועHa Moshiach is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an anti-Messiah. The term translated "deceivers" can also be translated "impostors"; it carries the idea of leading another astray. Notice that the verse refers to "many" such charlatans and pretenders. The great danger of deceitful leaders is that they seem so sincere andbelievable. They are not easy to spot in a crowd. Usually they are winsome and attractive; otherwise, how would they gather people to themselves? We do not want to become paranoid and suspicious about everyone we meet, but we do need to be wise in evaluating the character and conduct of those who would seek to influence people. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and His Word is not in us. "walking in truth" is walking in the light. both phrases refer to walking in the Torah.
