E- Chitral aimed to provide ICT Skills in the grass root level with a major focus on rural communities. E-Chitral aimed to create partnership with operational IT Institutes across the district and utilize the resources in provision of skill development through online and offline trainings.
Those trainings includes short courses, diploma programs, designing, web developments, online marketing, skill development of untrained work force and marketing of rural community products.
Additionally this include E-Solar, E-Siyahat, E-Agriculture and other programs which aimed to provide economic up liftment solution within the door steps of rural communities

  2. 2. Introduction E- Chitral aimed to provide ICT Skills in the grass root level with a major focus on rural communities. E-Chitral aimed to create partnership with operational IT Institutes across the district and utilize the resources in provision of skill development through online and offline trainings. Those trainings includes short courses, diploma programs, designing, web developments, online marketing, skill development of untrained work force and marketing of rural community products. Additionally this include E-Solar, E-Siyahat, E-Agriculture and other programs which aimed to provide economic up liftment solution within the door steps of rural communities. This is partnership program between public and private sector companies and organizations including CIT, PIID, NIMIS and Signal Consultancy in the program management and several IT Institutes in Chitral as collaborating partners including Pamir Education Society the largest private sector educational stakeholder in Chitral. Signal Consultancy Private Limited, Islamabad is the implementation partner of E-Chitral and hosted the launching ceremony of E-Chitral in several valleys including Booni, Garam Chashma, Bomborate (Kalash Valleys) and Chitral Town and in Parabeg Valley.
  3. 3. Mr. Ammar Jaffari CEO – E Pakistan visited Chitral along with Mrs. Jaffari during 16 Sep, 2016 to 19 September 2016. Signal Consultancy arranged a number of programs during his visit including a meeting with leader in PTDC Booni, Pamir Degree College Garam Chasham, Kalash Valley and District Council Chitral Town.

Above 40 Leading organizations / Institutes/ Colleges / Schools / Universities representatives participated during the launching ceremony of E-Chitral at District Council Hall on 19 Sep, 2016. Mr. Ammar Jaffari was the Chief Guest and Mr. Zahirudding President Chitral Press Club was Guest of Honor of the Event. Mr. Abdul Latift Prsident PTI Chitral also addressed the session and extended his support for E-Chitral
  5. 5. Mr. Maghirat Shah District Nazim Extended District Council support for E- Chitral. Additionally the Nazim has been briefed about E- Governance project designed by E-Pakistan Team.
  6. 6. Mr. Abdul Latif, President of PTI Chitral demanded about E- Governance program in the District. He extended his all support for E-Chitral during the launching ceremony and later on during the briefing on E- Governance.
  7. 7. A briefing the Management of Professional Development Center, Aga Khan University Chitral held in PDC Building. The management of PDC headed by Mr. Muhammad Khan appreciated E- Chitral and shown interest for cooperation in professional training with major focus on Teachers ICT Education .
  8. 8. Chairman CCDN Chitral Mr. Muhammad Wazir has been brief about E-Chitral and possible role of CCDN and associated LSOs in E- Chitral

  10. 10. E- Chitral team visited Kalsh Vally and held meeting with Kalash Community Leaders to establish E-Skill Center in different Kalash Valleys
  11. 11. E-Chitral Signed an MOU with Mr. Liaqat Chairman Pamir Educational Society on 29/9/2016.
  12. 12. Nazim Union Council Garam Chashma Mr. Muhammad Hussain extended his support for PIET Parabeg an E- Skill Center of E-Chitral
