  2. 2. Effects of alcohol onthebody<br /> The effects of alcohol on the body are numerous and diverse. Alcohol, specifically ethanol, is a powerful psychoactive drug with a level of side effects. The amount and circumstances of consumption play an important role in determining the duration of intoxication, for example, consuming alcohol after a big meal is less likely to produce visible signs of intoxication with the stomachvacío.1 Hydration also plays a role, especially in determining the length of hangovers.<br />

  4. 4. Alcohol in everydaylife<br />Alcohol damages your body inside, but also interferes with daily life , causing abuse to family, friends, unemployment.<br />
  5. 5. Effects of alcohol on the skin<br />Alcoholic beverages dehydrate us and, therefore, undermine the vital nutrients of the skin. Alcohol reduces the level of vitamin A in our body. This vitamin isresponsible for the regeneration of skin cells. Also affects the collagen fibers.<br />
  6. 6. ALCoholiccirrhosis<br />More severe liver disease, and certainly better known, alcohol isrelated to alcoholic cirrhosis, which occurs when the normal liver tissue is replaced by scar tissue. Approximately 20% of people who abuse drink suffer from cirrhosis.<br />

ALCoholic hepatitis<br />Approximately 35 percent of heavy drinkers suffer from alcoholic hepatitis, or liver inflammation. Moderate alcoholic hepatitis can last years and cause progressive liver damage, while the most severe alcoholic hepatitis may occur suddenly or after a session of heavy use, and possibly lead to complications that threaten the life of the person.<br />
