Curriculum <ul><li>Reading Log – 1000 pages per nine weeks </li></ul><ul><li>AR – Individual goals will be created based on reading level and last year’s AR points </li></ul><ul><li>Math Mania – 90% in 5 minutes or less </li></ul><ul><li>Math – Decimals, Fractions, and Percents! </li></ul><ul><li>Writing – Persuasive, Narrative, Expository </li></ul><ul><li>Social Studies – Civil War to Now! </li></ul><ul><li>Science – Earth Science, Physical Science, Life Science </li></ul>

Homework <ul><li>You can expect your child to have homework Monday through Thursday, with an occasional Friday assignment. </li></ul><ul><li>There may be a few long-range projects during the course of the year. </li></ul><ul><li>Late projects may be turned in the following day, but will receive no grade higher than a C. Students will not be allowed to call home if they forget their work or class materials. </li></ul>
  7. 7. Extra “Stuff” <ul><li>Family Journal </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Please write a letter to your child over the weekend. Journals are due on Monday and count towards the Language grade. (O-S-U) </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Tribes </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Conflict resolution classes along with class meetings. </li></ul></ul>
