Do You Want to Learn Karate at Home?Learning karate at home is possible, but most people struggle!It is very easy to get distracted when you are training by your self, you can easily find yourself daydreaming and thinking about all kinds of things, when you should be focused on your karatepractice. Poor karate technique is a major problem, when trying to train at home. Not only can ithamper your progression in karate, it can also cause quite seriousinjury.It is sometimes very hard to stay motivated, especially when you arethe only person in your karate class! Without a good structure, trying tolearn karate at home WILL be extremely difficult.Here are six tips that will help you not only improve your karate, butalso manage your time and keep you motivated.Tip One: Secure a time period for karate practice and STICK to it!Tip Two: Write down what you are going to practice, how many and at what speeds, then TICKthem off as you complete them.Tip Three: Turn your mobile phone, TV, computer off and DO NOT answer the door.Tip Four: Film your home karate class, then grab a drink, sit back and compare to an experts onlinetutorial or karate DVD.Tip Five: Keep your routine, if you are going to practice 7pm to 8pm every Tuesday, do not let atrip to the shops, a walk, a game of tennis, etc, get in the way. Keep your karate time as YOURtime.Tip Six: Finally. Put some cool tunes on, there is no better way to get motivated than listening togreat music that you love.Trying to learn karate at home takes dedication and effort, but having a system like the one above,that you follow regularly, will make your progress in karate swift and most important of all, FUN!If you are serious about how to learn karate at home, then you will need some quality videotutorials, books, audio, pdfs, etc. You will need to be very careful and at first, take things veryslowly, film your karate techniques, then watch them back. If at all possible, I always encourage everyone to search out a fully qualifiedkarate sensei and train at a professional karate dojo, if there is no way you can attend a dojo, then noone should be able to tell you that you cannot practice karate!
