CURRICULUM DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT
 The department has UG & PG board of studies with
appropriate representation of faculty, university nominees,
industry experts and student alumni.
 The board of studies meets twice a year to discuss the
curriculum at length and The syllabus is then forwarded to
Academic Council.
 CBCS is offered in all the programmes of the dept since
2017.
CURRICULUM ENRICHMENT
 Curriculum comprise of major and minor research projects so
that students gain practical insights.
 To sensitize the students towards contemporary issues such as
environment and sustainability, human values and
professional ethics, relevant courses have been included in the
curriculum.
 Following “Value-added’’ courses are also being run by the
department:
1. Certificate course on Tally.ERP 9
2. Certificate course on Equity Trading
TEACHING-LEARNING PROCESS
 To develop job skills and managerial competence in students
workshops, guest lectures and interaction with industry experts are
ensured.
 To give practical exposure to the students, the minor projects in some
subjects have been introduced.
 Students also get on the job experience during their summer
internships and industrial training.
 To inculcate moral and ethical values among the students, Courses on
the same has been introduced.
In order to serve in the best interest of students, the following
measures are adopted:
INTERNAL ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATION
 The evaluation criterion is explained in detail to the students
in the beginning of the semester.
 Evaluated answer sheets of MSTs are shown to the students.
 Internal assessment is disclosed to the students before the final
examination.
 Any issue regarding above is looked into and appropriate
action is taken, if required.
CATERING TO STUDENT DIVERSITY
 To cater to the needs of students from diverse educational
background, bridge courses are conducted before the
commencement of classes.
 Slow learner & Advanced Learners:
Identification
First year students are categorized on the basis of their scores in
qualifying class. The class in charges prepare the list of students
categorizing them as follows:
 Advanced learners –who have scored more than 70%.
 Slow learners –who have scored less than 50%.

Gaining Practical and Technical
Training.
STUDENT PERFORMANCE AND LEARNING OUTCOMES
 To measure student performance and ensure achievement of
learning outcomes, OBE system have been adopted.
 All the programmers' offered by the dept have well defined
PEOs, POs and COs and displayed on website. The Cos have
been mapped with POs and the attainment of COs and POs is
calculated as per OBE policy and manual of the college.
 In case of Gap, appropriate action is taken for closure of the Gap.
ABOUT PLACEMENTS
 We have a robust & proactive placement cell to impart field
training to the students
 To establish interface with the industry for the placement of
final year students.
 The cell works with the co-ordination of the staff and students.
 To address the demands of modern education, prominent
academicians and industrialists constantly enlighten the students
through guest lectures.

Giving Simpler and Shorter Assignments, Group Assignments or Practical Assignments More Challenging Assignments and Projects are Given Taking Oral Test at Regular Intervals Organizing Special Coaching for Competitive Examinations Providing Easy and Simple Notes and Course Material Need Based Training Programmes for Gaining Practical and Technical Training.

STUDENT PERFORMANCE AND LEARNING OUTCOMES  To measure student performance and ensure achievement of learning outcomes, OBE system have been adopted.  All the programmers' offered by the dept have well defined PEOs, POs and COs and displayed on website. The Cos have been mapped with POs and the attainment of COs and POs is calculated as per OBE policy and manual of the college.  In case of Gap, appropriate action is taken for closure of the Gap.

ABOUT PLACEMENTS  We have a robust & proactive placement cell to impart field training to the students  To establish interface with the industry for the placement of final year students.  The cell works with the co-ordination of the staff and students.  To address the demands of modern education, prominent academicians and industrialists constantly enlighten the students through guest lectures.
